please open your aperture to around 4-5.6 so screens are fully in focus, Boost ISO to compensate for stopped down exposure.

Why do music makers wonder about the secrets of mastering? You have no way of knowing what they are listening to or doing without the same hardware as them. And they have fully acoustically tuned sound systems and rooms. You'll never know their secrets.It's a waste of time. simple truth, Good mastering comes from good mixing, and good mixing comes from good production.

Love the insight and tour. I got a slightly used kidney for sale I need a Crane song, lol. Just a suggestion for doing this type of video. Stabilizer and use a more narrow Aperture - higher F stop and smaller focal length to keep it from blurring out the footage unless it was intentional.

Mastering is a totally different thing than the mix. It took me almost 10 years to do it properly for compete with top notch songs and get to the -8 or -7 LUFS. Producing boom bap, trap, techno and dubstep help me a lot during the road by needed to fix different dynamic context. I will say " don't try this at home kids " and let the job done by a specialist, it s a pain in the a**, and it's a big time and vibe killer if you're a producer. Make more song, keep searching nu vibes.

Hey, thoughts and prayers up for you and your kids. As well as her family. I can't imagine dealing with that. Take everything moment by moment and day by day. Definitely find positive things to help distract yourself with when you can. If you're an artist/producer/engineer use the music to help heal a little bit. I know there's nothing easy to say to help, but thought I'd just try and encourage you.

Acoustic pannels (not too high quality but 12x12x2) now cover every wall of my "bedroom" (if you can even call it that at this point...that "bed" is a giant a acoustic floor panel) I've got a few 2' x 3' x 2" foam panels on the ceiling then govee led lights covered in polyester fill (shout out @helpmedevvon for the idea) covering that. My friends come in t record, and that pressure is REAL! SILENCE IS DEAFENING My friend walked in and was like "Oh 😦...i don't like that...put the music on.. I can hear my own breathin"

@nateg5586 you are probably right, but it looks dope, and I can't hear my neighbors and vice versa, so my 0300 mixing is acceptable. Hell, my kids are asleep and don't hear the B8O8M and that's just a hallway away. BUT... when everything is quiet, I hear music that isn't there 😬
