Belly was 100% talking about Jere when she mentioned getting a second chance, that’s why she looked back at the house, where Jere is sleeping.

As a team Jere I rlly thought I was crazy that literally no one close to them except Taylor would pick up on their vibes, I'm so glad you put that in cause Conrad and Steven really pretended to be completely blind sided by them🤣(obviously probably shouldn't have been kissing on his car though lmao)

Knowing Susannah and Laurel, they probably just assumed the closeness was them just bonding, having grown up together. /: I also feel like everyone in the house knew that Belly had a crush on Conrad so they probably immediately placed Jer in the role of the best friend who’s like a brother. Steven also probably assumed that to Jer, Belly would be like everyone else he’d only seen temporarily; whereas Conrad had been in committed relationships, so out of the two brothers he probably took Conrad more seriously. But yeah, it is kind of hard to ignore when you’re always getting caught kissing in front of cars 😂😭

@@TajinaeTurner I agree 100%, I guess I've just never fully seen why there was such a push towards 'Conrad has always been the one for Belly' from the family considering Steven, Conrad and Susannah knew Jere and Belly also developed a romantic relationship last summer and Jere being so hurt by how things ended, though he regretted distancing himself it also feels as the others in the family just don't really take his feelings into account or seriously so he pushed them down😭

Fantastic reaction like always got wait for episode 8. A few things about this episode. 1st I love how you pointed out that Jere is always pushing her towards her dream of playing volleyball and he was the only one to go and talk to her about the fight she had with her mom. 2md the parallels between their first kiss last season and this season is amazing. Last season Jere asks Belly if she ever thought they could be more which she says yes. In this season Belly as Jere if he still wants her and he says yes I still. Also, in the first season Belly tells Taylor that kissing Jere was real and scary. In this episode she tells Jere she wants something real because the dream of Conrad wasn't what she expected.

Something i want to bring up is that the something "real" belly thinks she can achieve with jeremiah is fully based in her physical need to replace what she had with conrad, she feels that her feelings for conrad are rooted in childhood fantasy, while jeremiah gives her what she thinks is adult love because it's more s*xually charge in reality this doesn't equate to love and she will never be able to replace the emotional intimacy she shared with conrad conrad treats their physical relationship with care, gentleness, and reverence because in the end he truly loves and respects her jeremiah loves belly but his actions prove thathe doesn't fully respect belly, and his actions are driven by physical attraction and jealousy that why i will NEVER be team jere❤ Ps. Love you

I feel like the fact that Belly loved Conrad from the time she was little meant that she didn’t love the real him, she loved this idealized version of him that she invented. I think the first half of season 2 is Belly realizing that boyfriend Conrad isn’t what she thought he would be. At times he made her feel loved and safe but the next moment he’d make her feel alone, insecure, and unloved. Conrad’s a complex character who is going through a lot, he’s not the one dimensional fairy tale that belly made him out to be. I think the second half of the season is her realizing that Jere is real, that he makes her happy, and makes her feel safe and loved and that the dream of Conrad isn’t what she needs. In a way she’s letting go of her childhood by walking away from Conrad to something real with Jeremiah. And it’s a different kind of love, one that’s grounded in reality, which is why it’s different than what she felt for Conrad, and why she won’t love anyone the way she loved Conrad. I know a lot of fans disagree but I actually think she’s moved on from Conrad, at least at this point in the show.

@@ElenaZhv yes in the books she marries Conrad, the show will likely follow the same plot; however that doesn’t negate what I said. Conrad and Belly’s relationship was horrible, she felt horrible, he’s not in a place where he can give her what she needs, nor did the relationship live up to the fantasy of what she expected. Right now, in the show, she sees Jere as someone who is supportive of her, who isn’t shy about his feelings, who doesn’t tell her one thing and immediately take it back; he makes he feel safe, loved, happy, supported, and I think she genuinely has real feelings for him, which I think is different from how the books put them together. So like what was the purpose of your comment?? Why not just scroll on by if you’re team Conrad????

Yes how it was supposed to go in books but in showing due to the fan following of personel looks of the guy who played jer and his teen fans show creators decided to change the naartaives of boys in second season read third book and you will find small details of what made Conrad good for her at the end they attributed those to jer in season 2 show is derived mostly on popularity now not on how it was orifamly concepted

Ahh, finally! I can’t wait until you react to episode 8! The Jelly moments this episode were amazing. All the hardcore flirting in front of everyone, and that kiss? My god their chemistry is insane 🔥 Belly was trying to tell Conrad that she has feelings for Jere. She was looking back at the house where he was sleeping when she mentioned getting a second chance. Then at the end of the episode she asked Jere specifically “Are you ever going to give me a second chance?” Belly is very much falling in love with Jeremiah at this point.

I disagree about it being up to Conrad to tell Jeremiah about Adam cheating, as the oldest, it's not always up to you to be the messenger about all of your family's dirty laundry. That is for Adam to disclose to his son. Usually the messenger gets shot by relaying the information first of all and second, it can only drive a further wedge between these brothers especially with how this season is going to end...

If you have seen Disney princess movies, you know the prince picks her up. It’s been her around like Jeremiah does with belly and that means there’s a sign that he loves her. Is this a sign or I am I’m confused
