I love how they're portraying Bowser as an actual threat and not just a goofy villain

I absolutely love how they're treating Bowser, both visually (holy cow does he look good) and as a character. He's genuinely intimidating, and he deserves that.

I absolutely love how you can visually see what world/game Mario is in. Especially the rainbow road scene. It’s so pleasing to my eyes. So colorful, but not to colorful and crazy to where I can’t tell what’s going on. The characters ACTUALLY being afraid of bowser is awesome, he’s not just some goofy villain, the video games tend to Lean on. All in all, I’m too hyped for this movie.

My child self would be crying cause that was close to maki by me tear up. It looked like they genuinely cared about the fans

They actually made peach NOT look like she made of plastic. Her face in particular looks great. And all the other character designs are amazing as well, such detailed textures and smooth movements

I like how the movie isn't confined to one game, you can see aspects of a lot. Some include: - Donkey King - The cheep cheep bridge levels - Mario 3D world peach fire flower costume - Yoshi island - At one point, peach mentions "galaxies." Super Mario Galaxy no? - 1:37 that's definitely a 3D world clear pipe opening reference (could be wrong) - Luigi is wearing his ghost-succer suit - Mario Kart + Rainbow road

Oh man, i'm so happy for hearing Luigi's voice,, Charlie was the perfect choice and i can't wait to see the whole movie, looks great.

I absolutely love how Mario pressed the drift button in the end of the trailer, including the Rainbow road. Truly respects to the Mario mini-games.

Loved the trailer, bowser was portrayed incredibly well, and peaches model is a lot better than I originally thought. However, I noticed how much they actually added Mario talking, and that was little to none. I wonder if they are doing this purposefully.

This looks like a genuine love letter to the past 40 years of Mario Bros. I can’t wait to see this!

This is so visually flawless. The animation is also flawless. The references from the games makes for a very unique looking universe. One of a kind!

They did Peach right. I was so worried she was gonna just be some damsel in distress, but she looks amazing and the voice acting for her is just on point

I cannot wait for this movie. The voices for the main characters have really grown on me, even Mario.

This movie is gorgeous visually stunning. So peach and Luigi switched roles, peach is Mario’s sidekick/tutor/partner and Luigi’s the new damsel in distress... poor Luigi, he’s heroic Nintendo! Yes he’s a scaredy-cat but he’s brave. I like the direction they took with peach, she can hold her own against bowser to protect her people; the toads. She’s a badass now. A real leader of her people not just a helpless girl that gets kidnapped by a spiked shelled turtle monster. Donkey Kong looks awesome and powerful. Incorporating Mario kart into the movie, even if it’s just one scene probably ,was a nice surprise. Bowser looks mean, a brute and intimidating as he should be but I hear they gave him some lighthearted moments, like a musical number. Is daisy, wario or Waluigi in the movie? Pauline is though 100% at the beginning it looks like.

This movie looks really good. I like how it uses elements from the game but at the same time has its own cool story.

Saw it yesterday with my 7-year-old niece. We loved it! A delightfully easygoing, fun, family movie. Brought up good memories playing the game too.

I was about 7 years old when the original Super Mario Bros. was released in America. It was what really reinforced my love of gaming (after first getting into it with Atari). I don't follow the series anymore but I can say as an old-time fan that what's here looks good.

Wow! As a 90's kid who grew up playing Mario Bros on every device I could get my hands on; this trailer actually made me tear up! Emotionally packed! I smiled, I cried and I got chills all over my arms! It rarely happens all at once in a movie trailer! For some of us, if not most of us, Mario represents our entire childhood! I hope the movie makes a whole generation proud!

I'm really impressed by this movie! Wish I could go back to being a kid, cuz it would've blown my mind when I was 10. They really put everything: from Mario vs Donkey Kong to Mario Kart. After this trailer I can't wait to see it even more!

YO THIS LOOKS SO COOL. i love how they properly protray the characters in the movie and how they made bowser threatning again. i also love how they added parts of their games like the levels from the games and how the music at the ending is an orchestrated verison of the original theme, similar to what they did with the sonic movie
