People talk about Tigers and Panthers but underappreciate the early German tanks for the blitzkrieg successes. Very odd role reversal for the Panzer III combat service.

The Panzer 2, 3, and 4s were some of the best-looking tanks of all time, in my opinion; more appealing than the Tiger, King Tiger, or Panther.

Panthers and Tigers are great, but the Pz III was a CAMPAIGN winner Good balance...

This one was more challenging than some others, and I had some things pop up that delayed work on it. I am thinking of doing the Panzer IV in two episodes. One episode on the short barreled gun tank, one on the long.

You are a lot more relaxed when presenting, compared to a couple of years back or so. The channels really coming along and I really like this series.

Recording at home helps a bit. Also, by sitting down I don't have to worry about what to do with my hands. I am not a professional lecturer and don't have a hand coach. Don't laugh, hand gesture coaches are a real thing! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndahmb172sC2fo0.html

Greetings! At 11:08 , the engine was the HL 108 TR, not an "HL 208". That would mean that the early Pz III has an engine with similar stroke volume to a Tiger's engine. I know,it was just probably a 'slip of the tongue'.

Hey man I have a question. Have you ever read the Images of War book Armoured Warfare in the Arab Isreali conflicts? If so, what did you think about? It's the only book I can find on the subject that i can also actually buy (I can't seem to find Steven Zaloga's book anywhere) but it's received some very mixed reviews and I don't know if it's worth it. You're doing a great job btw, keep it up

My favorite tank of ww2. It was the Best tank tell late 1941 early to mid 1942, in which case it was outclassed by the American M3 and M4.

I love your videos as they are easy to follow and informative. But for improved quality, please work on the pronunciation of the various German, French or Russian words. It is not witchcraft, and there are numerous tools online that can help you with it.
