Fun fact, many of them were used for centuries to feed the cattle until they were rediscovered later on as good for humans too.

@@jewelxiat I agree with you. I think that maybe an "enemies to best friends" dynamic would fit this better, because it's not as predictable, but I would love some romance in this. Not necessarily between Hades and the protagonist I knew the name but just forgot, but any romance would make my hopeless romantic heart skip a beat (in a good way).

I know it’s only been two episodes but Hades x Homer doesn’t make sense (at least, to me lol) Hades is a god, he keeps reiterating he’s a god, why would he settle down with a mortal? Homer is too all over the place with his ambitions, and Hades is a zoned out “realist” who is obviously slowly adapting to mortal life but as of now just really couldn’t care less about any of it. It just seems incompatible to me (their goals don’t align) I would love if they stayed platonic but I think Thomas is trying to go the romance route (hence why it seems predictable). Which, hey, if the future episodes improve this, I might grow accustomed to! But it’ll have to take really good writing to convince me atp. But yes I’m excited for other potential romances, I’m a sucker for love :3c

For those interested in the subject Thomas brought up here, I also recommend the book 'The Radium Girls' by Kate Moore. It's about the women who tragically lost their lives due to unsafe work practices handling radium in factories. The women who suffered a lot but fought back and are the cornerstone of demanding compensation for safe working conditions, and womens rights within the workplace. It's a hard read, they suffered a lot, but if you like this episode it is DEFINITELY worth a read.

This concept is so cool!!!! "Robby Mc Theif Pants" has got to be the most hilarious description ever!!!! I loved the cliffhanger ending! Similarly, do you know that the ancient Greeks would travel to Africa and get a lot of their information and philosophy from people over there? People credit the Greeks for coming up with so much stuff.But it was often stuff that they borrowed or re-told from Africans they admired. the ancient Africans did advanced pottery two thousand years before the europeans!!! I learned about it in college from my awesome teacher of African History; there is soooo much history and culture and invention WAAAAY before Cleopatra and the pyramids, which is the most known time period of that area in the West, but it's important for people to know about all the stuff before it too!

1. The colour correction / dark filter around hades is so cool. Really adds to his atmosphere and it looks amazing and so well done. 2. The name “Homer” and it’s connections to the composer of the odyssey and Iliad immediately stick out to me. My theory for later in the series is that Homer will find passion and fulfilment in more creative courses/ the arts - e.g Theatre, writing/English - just like his namesake. Can’t wait for the next episode, 2 episodes in and this series is already incredible.

I kinda really felt with Homer during the little speach at the end of class simply because I also studied a field of engineering and was not a gold-star-A-plus student, but I made it and I love it still. ok i like this series WAYYY more than i expected to, i hope that by the end of it i can keep greek gods straight (and also Hermes is such a legend, i love a gossip girl)
