About the Gluttony thing, i'm pretty sure thats because Averice was what it originally was, and I think later on it was split into Greed and Gluttony, in addition from what I understand Gluttony isn't about eating, it's about excessive indulgence or something like that.

Umm, actually, throwing handaxes uses a Strength modifier for both attack rolls and damage. Source: PHB If a weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon to make a ranged attack. If the weapon is a melee weapon, you use the same ability modifier for that attack roll and damage roll that you would use for a melee attack with the weapon. For example, if you throw a handaxe, you use your Strength, but if you throw a dagger, you can use either your Strength or your Dexterity, since the dagger has the finesse property.

Umm, actually a ranged attack is Base attack bonus + Dexterity modifier + size modifier + range penalty with a non-splash thrown weapon adding Strength modifier to damage Source: Core Rulebook there are more games than dnd

@Nikanuur Umm, actually the dnd analogy was more accurate due to the fact that you are simply using an analogy from Pathfinder, AKA “D&D 3.75e” as it was referred to at it’s creation as an unofficial supplement for D&D 3.5e. If you are going to be rude to someone for using an analogy from one of the most popular ttrpgs, atleast use a ttrpg system that didn’t originate from stated popular ttrpg.

@Nikanuur Um, actually, a Handaxe would be Ranged(Light), with upgrades, boosts, and setbacks relevant to appropriate skills, talents, maneuvers, cover, and defense! And that system would handle the situation much better.

“Righteous, but pointless anger” is more interesting when you can understand why the character is angry, but anger is pointless because the anger is directed at something that doesn’t deserve it. My favorite example is the Episode ‘Dragon Quest’ from Casper’s Scare School. It’s about Thurdigree Burns, the School’s Science and Chemistry teacher, attacks a Medieval Themed Restaurant because he wants revenge on who he presumes to be Knights because Knights chased his ancestors into near extinction.

Unfortunately for me,Japanese Alhaitham isn’t the same(It’s nice though).But that’s probably because Alhaitham is my main and I’m used to his sarcasm in English. I do however like the sound of Yunjin singing in Mandarin though.It’s oddly peaceful and very different from her voice in English.

On nihilism, there's a concept of "why don't you die" in religions with heaven/reincarnation, which basically means "what is your purpose for living" if there's no meaning, you create it, experience stuff, to me it's like playing a meh game when you're a kid, it's not great, but you wanna know what's next before your mom calls for dinner. Sure, you might get to play again later, but your console might also be confiscated because you've had bad grades.

That bit about the book...yeah. I kinda rewatched the guardians of gahoole movie the other day. Its not great. Its extremely not great. Same goes for basically any hunger-games-like except for the hunger games. Those are still really fuckin good. Like I remember one book the main character had the alias "day" and his real name was "daniel altan wing" and it pissed me off to no end cause it should have been "ying" or something so it made day an acronym. And that alone pissed me off so much I couldn't finish the book. Like imagine having your initials be D.A.Y. that's badass.

Ok so if Exercise is like black magic how would you describe a status condition that makes it way harder to do and therefore harder to get stronger?
