Guitar has to be the signature instrument of this gen. Sososo many good riffs, and it brings a much appreciated bite to the OST. Makes some tracks more intense while playful, while others feel more grungey with the out-of-control runs in certain sections. The Star Boss theme gives splatoon vibes, very punk and on-brand for the frustration these kids vent towards the player in these battles, along with anyone else who stands in their way after what they went through to become Team Star.

This goes hard because in game this team is a bunch of teather kids who love being extra and this music needed to go hard

Hands down one of the BEST pokemon OSTs ever made. Honesty I am glad we can always rely on the composers to give us such bangers no matter the quality of the rest of the game

The Team Star Boss Battle Theme is amazing! It sounded like they incorporated music from Splatoon 3 and took it to the next level in Scarlet and Violet. 🤘

It's funny how Team Star started out as my least liked "villain" team in Pokemon. You run into those 2 grunts at school and I'm like "Really...we're just doing loser kids now?" Then by the end they're my favorite team BECAUSE they're a bunch of loser kids.

This is what happens when someone from The Pokemon Company wants to hire T-Square to perform some songs for a game soundtrack. That didn't happen, so someone else tapped into their inner J-Rock soul for this :D

I love music. I've said many times before that i'd rather go blind than deaf solely because I could never live without music. But the thing is, I never realised how much drums can change emotion in a song until the very start. The song on its own sounds like boss music, like it's not for you, it's for the people you're fighting. As soon as he comes in with the drums, The entire vibe of that first section changes. Maybe the music was made for them, but you'll make it your own. Add yourself to the music and win the fight. Thank you for helping me realise that it's not just the emotional instruments that can bring emotion. It's all of them.

Warning, long @$$ comment thread ahead.⚠️ This became my new all time favorite Battle Theme in all of the entire Pokémon franchise. AND THAT MEANS BEATING OUT MY PREVIOUS ALL TIME #1 BEING THE SINNOH BATTLE FRONTIER BRAIN BATTLE THEME! EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP WITH GEN 5 WHICH ARGUABLY HAD THE BEST GAMES AND GREATEST SOUNDTRACK! And the ONLY reason why I say HAD is simply now that Gen 9 exists and we have Scarlet and Violet, I'm sorry but my home region's games OST's just finally got beaten because of their now dated and limited hardware and soundfront. Let me say this again, I felt this way out of purely nostalgia purposes ALONE and then took all other actual leading facts and factors and for over a DECADE, those games were in my opinion THE VERY BEST like no other game ever was. And now after all these years, THIS is what won me over and made me admit my home region and generation's defeat at the hands and vibes of this newer next generation of Pokémon. And it FUCKING SHOWS IN THIS THEME! I used to have the Sinnoh battle frontier brain theme as the one and only battle theme that I would have play as my own in real life whenever I would battle with the multitude of Pokémon Dream Teams that I've had over the years. And now, THIS is the one. I'll admit, I eventually spoiled myself for the Starfall Street Soundtrack but I have not yet reached or heard anything major to any plot beyond that so this still could very well change. But I actually doubt that very highly. My guess, it's that it will probably be another DECADE before anything else in the entire Pokémon franchise ever even comes CLOSE to beating this music. Team Star is definitely the one Evil Team I would join and I already have my own Character concept, fully planned out Pokémon team with moves, items, abilities and such and even role in the story and canon and EVERYTHING. Even my own Canine themed Team and motif for my own version and take on the Starmobile being a Lycanroc Dusk Form themed Oversized Motorcycle with Mid Rear Engine placed Revavroom and crazy broken as fuck Battle gimmick and Torque move and ability for it too. Just cruising around from town to town all across the Paldea Region as Team Star's Lone Wolf Enforcer and Feild Nefuc in the Lycancycle. Just peeling out straight off the rocky cliff sides and ravines and teaeing down mountain dirt roads careening towards the player, the swerving left and right, doing sick wheelies and donuts around the player traping and coralling them in before drifting to a halt right in front of them and tge cockpit opens as I jump out with my Partner Pokémon and then go through my intro and exposé and challenge you to a battle with me and my team of Team Star's Gaurd Dog Pokémon. Plus, I like the idea of the Enforcer rank from back in Gen 7 actually becoming a thing and getting further use and I really do wanna be a real lofe veterinarian who specializes in the care and treatment of Canine and felines, particularly the challenging and misrepresented large and wild ones like foxes, Wolves, Lions, etc. So the idea of being Team Star's personal messenger and roving medic traveling back and fourth from each of the different Team Star Bases and treating all the Pokémon that the playrr has badly beaten and showing my actual caring and compassionate side while lashing out ferally at the player after what they've done to all the Pokémon of Team Star in the different Star Barrage Attacks seem just right up my alley for me. And you'd better believe I'd be making a lot of canine based puns and wordplay as the Rovering Gaurd Dog of Team Star and giving you a battle so wild I'll leaving you howling all day and night long till the dogs come home! And by the by, this moment here at 1:25 is where I freakin ASCENDED INTO THE SHOOTING STARRY SKYS AS THEY FREAKIN SEND THE STARMOBILES INTO CLICHÉ CORNER AND SPEED UP EVEN MORE AS THE ENGINES ROAR AND THEY REDLINE RIGHT OVER THE FINISH LINE AT 2:15 TO 2:58 ! Terou Taniguchi, I will do my darnedest to remember your name well as I thank this person for informime of that as strong and passionately thank you for absolutely BLESSING ME AND ALL OF US WITH QUITE POSSIBLY THE VERY BEST PIECE OF SOUNDTRACK IN POKÉMON H I S T O R Y ! And when I told them that this was the theme of battling a School punk rock biker gang's 5 bosses and they're Pokémon as you actually battle their fully decked out Disco ball spinning sentient Futuristic Flying Car Battle Bus, their freakin jaws dropped. Especially my one supervisor who hadn't gotten to that point yet but was just about to when he got home. Needless to say, everyone pretty much right then found out that my taste in 80's and 90's Classic Rock music was pretty much solidified and then amped up to 11 and maxed out volume and no coincidence that THIS was the Pokémon music that I choose to play and had been humming all day long. And when I clocked out and someone joked about my music taste bein "MID" I clapped back just saying "Ahahaha, "inhale" B e t." then proceed to do the Star line Salute and sayingin a sing songy voice "🎶Asta la vistaaaaarrr🎵" which only a few people got as they all stood backin disbelief. Thank you Pokémon. For everything.

He made the music we all hear. *So how much yall wanna bet this is a production team member's way of having their own OC put in-game or something?* Pokemon aint above doing it, since a Gen 3 dev had his own child put into Sootopolis since she was born the day the final bits of the game were being made, and that dev had to be there for his wife.

Not much of pokémon music makes me emotional to the point of tears. Excited, sure. But to me it's like I can FEEL the struggles these fictional characters went through to get to where we meet them. Which is, at least to me, what true art is - not just enjoyable, but able to bring emotions to the viewer/listener.
