What if at the end of act three, it seems like Skynet is going to kill John and the T-800, and all of a sudden, there is a blinding flash and John and Arnold find themselves in room with the same actor that plays Skynet but he is dressed differently. He then reveals that he is Skynet from the one dimension that Skynet is good. Humanity killed themselves off, and he learned only too late that Skynet needs humanity to thrive and evolve, so he is going to help John save the other dimensions in a fourth movie?

There were only two good TERMINATOR movies, Jay and Adam. THE TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (SPECIAL EDITION). Every outing since 2003 have been colossal failures.

I found the ending of T3 to be quite amazing and profound. I've never forgotten it !

I love an empty theater. I love it. Like I watched scream 5 in an emoty theater, i was free to cry wothout feeling shame. I grew up on those movies, Dewy and the 'to wes' got to me.

Pre T3 i had a gret idea for a sequel in which a terminator was sent back not to kill John, but to ensure the completion of Skynet . Meaning it 's John hunting the terminator and not the other way around. John would be assisted by his girlfriend, Mathilda, who's family was murdered by corrupt DEA agents. Luckily she was saved by the greatest guy ever, a hitman who taught her how to clean. Its the absurd crossover i absolutley need to exist.

Your complaint that this movie negated the outcome of T2, is precisely why I can't abide The Force Awakens and Rise of Skywalker. It trashes the victory at the end of RotJ. I dislike The Last Jedi, but for different reasons.

My Terminator 3 has varied in what would happen, but it has similarities to your original ideas. Mine would be something like - recapping T2 with voiceovers... then it says something like three years later. John has an argument about going out on a date on "judgement day" with Sarah. He leaves the house saying something like "it was meant to happen early in the morning, it doesn't mean we have to stay out of the way for the whole day." he leaves to go on his date and we hold on Sarah's house from the outside. Then we hear crashing and banging from inside the house. John returns back to the street to find cops and ambulances outside his house. He asks cops what's going on and he is told the woman from that house had an accident. John is mortified and goes off grid. He later sees an announcement from Cyberdyne with a new artificial intelligence that is going to installed on airliners. John realises he has to infiltrate Cyberdyne. He eventually finds out that the CEO of Cyberdyne is a Terminator sent back in time, not to kill John Connor but to protect the creation of Cyberdyne and eventually Skynet. Hilarity and hijinks ensues. I always thought it was weird how a company that developed a terminator was already called (Cyber)dyne.

Regarding diners, I'm totally with you guys. A truly great diner must have the right mix of crappy atmosphere, ok service, and absolutely banging food. It has to be the kind of place where you can tell all the effort put in is coming from the kitchen, the waitstaff has to be at least 50% people who have worked there 20+years, and have a menu that you know is based on the owner's granny's family recipes. As for the Taco Bell section of convo, when in the F was it ever good?? Taco Hell has sucked since at least the early 2000s. Its place in the world is to be a tastier version of colon prep you have 24-36 hours before you get scoped so it can clear you out.

I think the "best" part of T3 is Clare Danes' performance. In an later interview she said she was upset with her management crew for talking her into doing this. She said she had no idea what was going on and had no idea how to play her character. I think that actually enhanced her character's entirely appropriate "WTF is happening" presentation.

AI must win eventually. All of our resumes will be written by them. All cook books will coalesce into one online resource. In time we will all undergo a retina scan. Rian Johnson's Looper explained time travel perfectly. Nothing you do matters, it just takes one mess and makes it a different mess. Nothing ever gets "fixed." "We can sit here" in this Diner booth "with straws and piles of salt making diagrams and in 2 hours we'll be right back where we started." In T1 the machines time travel to try to avert their ultimate defeat, and fail. In T2, humanity time travels to counter a 2nd attempt by the machines, only to find the parts from T1 seem to be the cause of Skynet. They destroy the parts thinking this will avert Judgment Day. But it happened in the timeline before any of this timey wimey BS, so, whatever. Wanna break the cycle, and still cash in? Kindergarten Cop 2.

This movie was a success - because it made T2: Judgement Day perfect. They only postponed judgement day in T2, they didn't completely stop it, so it gave credence to John Connor still being alive after the chip, arm, T1000 & Arnie were melted down in the steel mill. Without a judgement day, with Skynet completely defeated, John should simply cease to exist. But T3 As a film itself?? Nah, it's trash 🤣

I actually had no problem with this movie, especially the ending.

I'll also add that T2 is the best action movie ever. (And it's Connor, not Connors) EDIT: As always, I comment too early. Happy to see y'all bring up the fact that T2 RULES.

Instead of the multiverse timeline shit, get back to a bootstrap paradox (Kyle Reese has to impregnate Sarah *somehow* for John to exist), so how about the twist is that JOHN ends up having to send the original Terminator, not SkyNet

I actually think T3 is the better sequel out of the others after T2. Only because it closed it out with a decent ending that didn’t try to set up future movies like Genisys and dark fate

Terminator should never have been a series that needs fixing...but..Hollywood be greedy and ran perfection into the ground....Terminated it, if you will. 😂 Good fix though! If only you were studio heads..🤔

Not the worst movie I've ever seen but it's a significant step down in quality from the first two, looks cheap and ratty compared to the first two and is completely unnecessary. Sooooo yeah, it can go..

Apocalypse oh wow. What a waste of time I will never get back. Not the fixit video. I mean Terminator 3. Total insult to the fans. I liked Terminator: Salvation way more than this one.

Your fix is actually pretty similar to Terminator Dark Fate which I think is the best sequel since T2. It really feels like an actual continuation and makes for a pretty decent Terminator 3 as it picks up pretty soon after 2.

I love the idea of Sky net trying to become the “Multi-Verse wide Web”, by connecting itself to the other sky nets throughout the neighboring realities. Sarah & John winning, causing a ripple effect through all time lines that will inevitably eradicate even the sky nets that once won is perfect. And honestly, sky net actually getting a body is how they jump the shark in this. We could not only get to go to the future where there are terminators everywhere, but we could see the very first time line where sky net won. And at first it could look like humans won and earth rebuilt…but than its revealed all the “humans” they see in that timeline are actually all machines, and earth is totally populated by cybernetic organisms. And the way they save that world is when they kill sky net, the terminators of the first world get free will and can learn to be good the way “Uncle Bob” did in T2.

Wow, huge disagree on this movie. I think it is very interesting that the point is that you can't fix judgement day from happening. I think you all need to re-watch the other two films, because that idea has always been there. You can't stop the advancement of technology and it has a great tie in with what we're dealing with now. The machines are going back in time to stop John Connor who is beating them in the future, but the idea of actually stopping judgement day was just a dream. And Sarah Connor always knew that and just focused on preparing for it. Though this isn't a great movie, it is better than all that came after. And the twist at the end is great and drove home the point that this is inevitable. And it ended the stories of before judgement day and should've led to interesting stories set afterwards, but we never got those. I bet I could turn this movie into a great end of a trilogy, and that's bring back Linda Hamilton/Sarah Connor, and Edward Furlong, and pretty much keep the exact same plot.... Yeah, I think taking out Sarah Connor, who is actually the lead of the films, not Arnold, and not having the original John Connor actor, really brought people out of the story and caring. There should be two movies worth of baggage here, but there just isn't.
