@@makimaistrash I was not aware of Pam’s victim’s daughter being active on social media. I can understand the family’s upset if they were not consulted; if that is the case, then they need to sue NBC Universal who produced the original podcast and this series. It’s a sad truth that once a crime becomes tried in court, it becomes public domain. My heart goes out to Betsy’s survivors.

What they went through is horrifying, but if this tv show isn't accurate (clearly it's not, if they're offended) I see little reason to kick up a fuss about it. The tv show is an adaptation of someone's story. It makes understanding their experience and trauma a lot less heavy for the audience.

The daughter of the murdered woman said she was originally under the impression it was a documentary, not a black comedy. She said she's had PTSD with all of this stuff kicking up again after so long and everyone being focused on the killer's life instead of the impact on the victim

She was portrayed as the sweet kind woman she was. Their feelings are valid tho I couldn't even imagine losing my mom that way then seeing more in the media about her killer than her victims. Its the story of an innocent man who went to jail, its a story about an insane serial killer, its a story about a corrupt incompetant department and unfair trial, about a lawyer who fought against this unjust system. Its not a comedy for comedys sake. Its very empathetic and dramatic not comedic about the victims family, and sympathetic to the daughters and their role in it all and how they turned against an innocent man and supported an insane killer, they were manipulated and lied to and caught up in grief. Their mother was a victim, but the case does notcrevolve around just her, there were many victims.
