Honestly I've always wondered if people are getting fake followers. I know girls who get like 2 to 3k average views with like 15 tiktoks and she has 20k followers already. I def think the platform does some funny accounting to get people to stay on the app and create more content. Also alot of the time when people tell me of a super viral tiktok they never know who created it just what happened.

Tiktok does some very weird stuff when it comes to popularity, they push your stuff hard at first so that you get hooked on the numbers game of being a tiktoker, also the platform is just better for passive watching. You go through your following list every once in a while, it's not like KZfaq or Twitch where you tune in to watch the content. So you can blow up and have a ton of followers but you don't really have "fans".

@@yukijames1321 It's technically grammatically correct in 16th century English. However, 'snuck' replaced 'sneaked' as the official past tense of 'sneak' in the 19th century. Still you really can use either one, they're both 'correct', but god damn reading 'sneaked' in the title feels so wrong.
