I broke my kneecap on a raid on a bar, that was kind of dark, where the first guy in the stack tripped going down a step-down level, and we all tripped over him and fell. I was trying to keep control of my SMG and didn't land well, hitting on my right knee on the concrete floor. I thought I had just shocked it, and got up and finished the raid. By the time we were done, and packing up, though, it was swollen to double normal size. That was back before protective kneepads were getting used much. I bought a pair as soon as I came back to work and wore them religiously after that.
