So ironic wasn't it? Screech whose a nerd presues her but she keeps rejecting him, but she ends up becoming a nerd herself because she is in love with another nerd, who didn't seem that interested in her to begin with until she became one. She ended up leaving that nerd who talked a lot shit about her friends and ends up dancing with Screech who she didn't like to begin with. Thats what I never understood, if she didn't like Screech, why did she end up going to him? Like the dance in season one where her dance partner rejected her when she sprained her ankle and ends up with Screech who she turned down in the first place and wins the contest. When prom happened, Screech didn't bother her anymore and she could've went with anyone but ended up with Screech. I didn't get it.

As a kid, this episode aired on in 1991, I really liked the character of Wendy Parks because she seemed a nice and sweet lady to Zack. Sadly, I found out that actress named Judy Carmen passed away on 2015 in Los Angeles. May rest in peace, Judy.

Wendy deserved better, but she helped create the situation by also judging Zach on his looks - she ignored his narcissism and sexism because of physical attraction. She later showed emotional maturity by rejecting him, and then showed she's the better person by forgiving him, sure, but she initially made the same basic mistake as Zach - she judged a person on their looks, and had no interest in their character

The show itself paints Zack as a great person despite him being anything but, so that's unsurprising. I remember this episode, and when she tells him off the first time, she says something along the lines of "I've heard every excuse, but I thought you were different!" I was just like "....girl, WHY?"

For some reason I thought of the Fresh Prince episode with Will befriending and connecting really well with a heavyset girl (I think she was played by Queen Latifa?) and when they get pizza, Cornflake and Will's other buddies make fat jokes about her behind her back, Will lets a quick joke out and she didn't take any of it, but eventually they make up at the dance since they didn't connect as well with their own dates.

When I was in high school I asked a guy out on a date he was big guy and valentines day was coming up I didn't ask him out of pity but I did like him I was nervous because a buff athletic teenager asking a soft and sweet man out he was shocked and said yes we had an amazing time it was hard to talk to him because he spoke Ukranian and I only knew German,Russian and English he spoke little German so we made small talk and had a good time lot of people were staring but we didnt care we has fun and we went out for pizza and played some games back at his house we dated for 1yr until graduation he said he's moving to France to attend a university there for criminal justice he was sad and I was too but he said we'll always be friends my sweet carnation I smiled but over time we fell apart and we never spoken to each other since than I got over him withing 7 months and that when I found my husband ^_^
