Now - with the help of the Holy Spirit working in us - we are going to move up to a new level of self-control and godliness - our tone of voice.
(Note - the socks example - I was thinking about a mom speaking to her children for that one.)
Ladies,
We have SO MUCH POWER to bless our husbands, children, and others in our lives as we use our beautiful smiles and friendly tone of voice! We are the ones who set the emotional thermostat in our homes. We can make everyone cringe and make everyone want to run to their rooms and lock their doors - or we can create a sanctuary of peace, harmony, joy, friendship, and blessing.
May God lead us to become the wives He designed us to be for His glory!
