Don't sleep on gargoyles to deep strike, then move, which can get you into places your opponent wasn't expecting you to have OC

Haruspex is absolutely busted right now lol one of them swallowed a 10 man Possessed unit in one turn. It's a really good unit and possibly just a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit undercosted right now

yeah it seems just ridiculously good for the cost! I really want to run a couple and just eat everything in my opponents army :P

@TheSixMachine I suppose extra hits on his secondary weapons is a mistake. Without it it would be an OK anti infantry unit.

Physcophage, give FNP and counters Ksons Zoanthropes,good damage and gives inv Venom thropes, great anti infantry and gives -1 to hit and cover Biovore, put spore mines everywhere to stop deep strike Termaguants, versatile, loads of cheap wounds, god teir oc, and now they are getting new weapon options they are vern better

Agreed - with the new weapons, perhaps our bug mama Tervigon comes back and is more appropriate? I guess we 'll have to see when the datacards are updated.

OOE and 2 fexes with double talons. They pretty much delete anything I throw them at. Are basically immune to normal battleshock. And if the fexes go down OOE becomes an near unkillable nuisance. 390 pts but they've been taking down 600-800 pts in each game I run them in

Yeah I was looking at OOE and he seems really good! Plus I just love fexes so they're always a win in my books!

@@TheSixMachine sane here. My favorite list to run in 9th was Jormungandr so I could deep strike 6 screamer killers. Can't really do that now but oh well

@@TheSixMachine I’m thinking it will be T12 18-22 wound’s with a 2+ save hopefully with a 5++ invulnerable save!? Tyrannofex is T12 with -1 damage and 17 wounds so The Norn Emissary is going to be really tanky and combat wise it’s butchering custodes with ease so it’s probably gonna be S16 ap-4 and 4 damage hitting like a jacked up dreadnought, the other variant will be a tank/knight killer 😍😍😍 CANNOT WAIT

Looks v. cool; I'd recommend some more anti-tank. SK is gonna get focus fired and deleted on turn 1 if you aren't careful with placement. Alll things considered, though, it looks pretty great, good luck this weekend!

biovores as a damage units are abysmal at their new price. You are comparing them to desolator marines but only to their secondary gun, leaving the 10 s10 ap2 d6+1 direct firing terror of a missile spam out :D What makes biovores hilarious is that their seeded spores can do mission secondary "actions". Get two of those babies as singular units and you basically have free "engage on all fronts" for the whole game for 130pts.

^ Yea you never ever fire the indirect fire. Unless you have two spores seeded that are already unkillable these guys are just spore whores. Even if you have four corners they are great for zoning out deep strike and strat. reserves so I have only shot my indirect fire once on them in like 20 games.

They are all good...unfortunately they are pretty much impossible to get in the states and have been that way for months now.

Yeah, it really sucks. Amazon and my lgs don’t have much of anything and GW themselves are always out of stock.

@@royaltyfree9607 I call bs. They are very hard to get at msrp. My flgs has only been able to get 1 hive tyrant, a termagant brood and a gargoyle brood in the whole year I've been looking there. It's so bad I haven't seen 90% of the tyranid codex in all of the stores I've been to in close to a 50 mile radius of my home, which is ~20 stores. Heck 80% my army was made from ebay purchases from nearly 2 years ago because of this crap. Tyranids are bloody difficult to get right now in the US for a fair price no matter how much you say otherwise.

zoantropes got weaker but compensated for it by all becoming doom of malantai? weird and kinda sad since it makes me suspect there wont be a doom of malantai the added support function is cool looks worth taking

Yeah I'd have loved a new/updated Doom model, would be cool to bring back things like him and the red terror to the nids!

(I was wrong but good discussion below) Barbgaunts actually have maximum -4” movement. Normal move and advance are not stackable. If I advance I only get -2” not -4” from adding a normal move to it. Making -2 from either advance or normal, and -2 from a subsequent charge in total.

Is that from a recent FAQ? As Disruption bombardment ability reads the ability does stack as it affects the hit units M stat directly by the -2 while also hampering the D6 advance because it's also subject to the -2, as well as the charge.

@@theguypaidinBACON Yeah unless something has changed it's still -6 in total in the right situation, -2 to M Characteristic, -2 to advance roll, and -2 to charge roll should all stack for Units that can Move, Advance, and then still Charge, for a total of -6! Which makes them very scary against things like Ork Infantry in a waagh! :D

@@TheSixMachine damn my space marine friends have deceived me. Their argument was based on the wording of advance, which is as they understood it, means an advance roll does not trigger normal movement keyword, but rather just the advance. I thought it was weird but agreed because it’s all word salad and -6” is crazy strong. Thank you both for correcting me with great news!

@@ElitePwny It's an easy mistake to make, I had to go and double check in a few discords with some tourney players just to make sure I wasn't replying with wrong information! But yeah it does make them pretty nasty against certain advance & charge Units! :D
