H20 is just magic. A love letter in the most sincere form as the story is rekindled and satisfyingly concluded. I will always adore this film, and love how in the end, we hear Laurie's breathing as the film cuts to credits as opposed to Michaels. Great video fellas

I'm not too surprised about the announcement. There's a lot of Halloween to cover, but it's clear that you are both very creative individuals, and sticking with Halloween ONLY is somewhat limiting. Expanding the channel, while also keeping the core of Halloween Lives, is a great idea! Best wishes for the future.

Also I must note-Halloween 5’s supposed botching of the H4 cliffhanger did not at all bother me. Becaaaaause I always saw the Michael’s evil controlling her from afar making her stab the foster mother & her mute state as a child registered to me as a side effect of PTSD. I honestly think it makes perfect sense. Also respectfully to our fandom community we must look at the horror landscape and the dynamics of American culture in 1989. NOBODY would have tolerated a 9 year old girl serial killer. It would have created a firestorm that could have gotten the Tipper Gore’s of the world to demonize this franchise and sink it altogether. I know people in 2024 like to fantasize about Jamie being the villain but it never would have worked in practice.

Michael Myers could not be killed by a woman with an axe who simply walks right up to him. Not if both his hands are free, which they were. She couldn't do that to ME. I'd just take the axe away from her.

4 is my personal favorite overall. 4-6 is my favorite 3 film run. 1,2 , H20 is my most satisfying timeline even though 4-6 is technically my favorite. H20 is my most satisfying ending and a great way to wrap it up, however Halloween 2018 is by far the best 3rd act. Kills is a mess but fun. Season of the Witch is good but I’m such a Michael Myers guy it’s hard to rank it high 😂 Halloween 2 starts great but stalls badly in act 2 & the ending is too abrupt it feels tacked on so it slips to 7. Halloween 5 is a mess but the 2nd horror film I ever saw and it’s super nostalgic for me. I love it. Personally I still think 4-6 are the scariest and to this day if I’m alone in the dark watching 4, 5 or 6 I’ll get scared. The original is phenomenal but technically my original is 4 and I love the pacing and the way Michael attacks the town, he’s like a damn spectre in 4. Curse theatrical cut never bothered me. It’s fun, scary, great atmosphere and most of the acting is really good. Resurrection is a piece of crap that speaks for itself. Ends I could literally list 20-25 reasons why I really dislike it. I feel they completely undid their own mythology from Kills and got too self important with all the subtext. These are horror films. I’m here to be entertained, not ponder life’s mysteries.

My Halloween ranking. Context/ Halloween 4 is the first horror movie I ever watched. So it can’t be beaten. I love H4-H6. They are my Halloween. 1-Halloween 4 2-John Carpenter’s Halloween 3-Halloween 2018 4-Curse 5-H20 6-Halloween 5 7-Halloween 2 8-Rob Zombies H2 9-Halloween Kills 10-Rob Zombies Halloween 11-Season of the Witch 12-Resurrection 13-Ends I love them all except Resurrection and Ends. Those two are basically unwatchable to me. Completely disappointing and disrespectful. The others are separated by mere inches until we get to 7. 8-11 are all good too but definitely a mixed bag. My 1-7 are all great to me!
