Project Castaway is a survival crafting title set in the Pacific Ocean. Live the life of a stranded castaway, with only yourself - and the island's inhabitants - for company! Sail the ocean, hunt, explore unique islands and gather resources as you fight for survival.

you can actually get on top without building anything, just by jumping on the right side of the cave

That looked intense, I'm sure that took you a good minute 😆 I watched a few of your vids you made of this game, looks a bit like stranded deep, but also not like stranded deep, if that makes any sense 😊 like the way the building futures look tho, only thing that might annoy me a little is that blurry effect around the screen, almost like motion blur, but looks fun.

You’re not the first one to say that 😉 I think it starts being more fish bowl-ish when our stats are low. So I try to keep everything high it just doesn’t always work😄 I like this game, but it has a lot of work that needs to be done! I hope they continue working on it! I want it to be good, but playing stranded deep I can see where there is a little lack of depth. 😎

Also, I usually don,t do heavily edited videos as you know. It was more of an experiment, and I didn’t want to waste everyone’s time building crap that doesn’t always work 😁

I thought of doing this early on, but I have been more focused on play testing, reporting bugs and making suggestions for improvements. Kudos though for getting this done so that the rest of don't have to.

@@generalg1946 Given the known bug with the hammer, that when it breaks it cannot be removed, you can no longer build, and you can't use the 'E' key to do anything. This is because you are locked into 'build mode' and cannot exit from it. So I figured you must have sacrificed building any basic shack. Even so, from the amount of building involved in the video, I am still surprised you accomplished everything before your hammer broke. Well played. 👍

I did reach points where I could not place logs anymore. I tried saving, sleeping, to try and reset. In the end I had to continue climbing the mountains to get to the hit box where I could drop the logs and continue building. Wasn’t easy, and was slow. So I sped it up 😉👍🏻

lol you think so? Or you’re no good on mouse and key? 🤣 see the difference between me and you is, I wouldn’t be able to play the game on a controller haha

Easy way to fix that, play on mouse and key. Every game does not HAVE to be controller compatible.
