This season also helped me when it was on the air due to how brightly she pushed towards the future. Dream is my absolute favorite Pink - but Yell is definitely a close second (and its funny to know they are both from the same director).

You say it's official but do you have a source? Searching "Hugtto Precure future Hana suicide" doesn't give me anything but fan theories.

@@Panther-chan Source: Pretty Cure Wiki (Nono Hana page) Though it was never mentioned, it was heavily hinted that Hana from the original timeline was involved in a tragedy, resulting in George's motivation to freeze time. The events were eventually averted by Hugtan's arrival to the present Hana. According to an interview with Kawamura, the character designer, in the January 2019 issue of the Japanese magazine Animage, the tragedy version of Hana from the future where George and Hugtan came from had never transferred schools. Because she never met Saaya or Homare and was stuck in such a hostile environment, Hana saw no reason to better herself at all.

@@danyanime200 Hm. That doesn't automatically equal suicide though. Considering we know that she's Hugtan's mother, and George is her husband yet doesn't recognise his own daughter, together with the parentals themes, I'd just assumed she died in childbirth

@@Panther-chan remember that Hugtan is pretty much the baby version of Cure Tomorrow - basically Tomorrow was already around 14 also what would make even more sense is Tomorrow not having been Hana and George's daughter at all in the first place. maybe her and the other future cures, along with the mirai crystals, were created by that golden woman, Mother Heart? or whatever her name was which is why Hana had truly been the one and only mother Tomorrow ever had, and why she was never returned to a human form, baby or otherwise

Late response, but the husband is George yeah. That part just isn't really up for debate. It's said in everything except words, since that degree of overt romantic commitment is probably still a bit too much for the Precure franchise. But the whole narrative is pointing to it with his fixation on Hana and the central story of their messed up family reconciling throughout time and space. Glitter force is just the English dub of, so far, only a few generations of the entire franchise. Precure/Pretty Cure (the actual name, not the eng version) originated in Japan and has been a thing since 2004. There are currently 15 pretty cure generations (aka pretty cure shows). They all follow the same pattern of young girls transforming into themed warriors and fighting evil forces, accompanied by some kind of mascots/fairies. However, the main themes and characters change with each generation-new art style, new theme, new characters, new music etc. Literally, nobody copied Glitter Force (the og title is Smile Precure, btw), they are part of the same, continuous franchise.
