A big part of why I joined your channel was because of videos like these. The emotional depth you bring make these characters feel so real because they connect to our human experience. Although I am a massive Sci-fi fan I would say I like the franchise rather than love it. I've been corrected several times that Star Wars is Science Fantasy but it the Sci-fi that appeals to me. In a way I saw the original trilogy in reverse, Return of the Jedi was the only one we had on VHS and I watched it over and over and over again. The redemption part was drilled into me before having more knowledge of New Hope and Empire. Attack of the Clones is my favourite of the Prequels because of the emotional weight of Anakin's journey. Two things that I enjoy when it comes to forgiving others and forgiving yourself are Godzilla Minus One and the Animated Avatar the Last Airbender. My only regrets are outcomes, I don't regret my actions. It will never be 100% acceptance as I still think about the moments that matter to me. I carry them with me as tools to inform future decisions but not as an anchor to hold me down. I know that I have hurt people in real life, it was never my intention to hurt them. The road to hell being paved with good intentions is not always understood the way it should. Those intentions lead to tangible actions, they were not mere hollow thoughts. I would still rather do the wrong thing for the right reason. Even though we all fail from time to time, we have to try to be good people and not leave it down to luck or fate. Forgiveness can be just as complicated, we judge others and others judge us. Sometimes fairly, sometimes unfairly. Sometimes people ask for forgiveness only because they got found out and want to appease only their own conscience. Others feel genuine regret and seek forgiveness from the ones they hurt as the path towards their own forgiveness. Some genuine love and respect to you.
