Nancy Green's image should be put back on the on the pancake boxes. She is part of American history.

Imagine thinking someone is inferior because of the color of their skin… TERRIBLE. ALL of their families should hold stake in the company & be repaid for using their image or the likeness of it for decades. This is so sad. The same people they think are less than, are the same faces they were using for profit, Lord help us all. ❤

Nancy Green was an actress. She was a replacement for Agnes Moody, the woman who actually attended the expedition and presented her recipes to the world. Nancy Green was safe because she acted out the stereotypes. Agnes Moody was a woman of prominence. Her family escaped from slavery and lived in Canada, returning later. Agnes was an Eastern Star and due to her parents association with John Brown, It was easier to bring out shuffling old Nancy. Agnes was also involved in returning John Brown's home back to Harper's Ferry, and she was very wealthy. So think about it, would you want to bury the image of a woman of prominence, under the woman who shuffled as a pet negro? You can look in Any old historical record in Chicago and learn about Agnes Moody. Stop presenting this woman as the original. Agnes was a chef sent to the Paris exposition by the department of agriculture . Pearl Milling STOLE that recipe from Agnes.
