I wish that Kvyat got another chance, but F1 is strict, and simple, if you don't perform, you are out. Unless you are Stroll.

Daniil Kvyat was only given a seat at Toro Rosso because of the introduction of the Russian GP. In fact, Antonio Felix da Costa (Formula E champion) had already signed a contract to go to Toro Rosso, as he stated in some podcasts, but the seat was stolen because RB thought it would be beneficial to have a Russian driver on the grid for the Russian GP.

I think that had Daniil been given the exact same attention and opportunity as Verstappen, we would have a Russian world champion

Him spinning out and crashing gives it checo vibes. Thats a sign that they are pushing past their limit. Look at checo, he could just be confortably winning p2 all 2023 season but because he pushed too hard made him be out of quali and podiums. So no there would not be a russian champion, you can see that pattern in other drivers and that just makes them lose positions, sargeant, sainz to name a few with checo. And dont give me that bullsht that checos car is 300hp less.

@@angelwalker. Exactly. Kvyat could have been a capable #2 driver for RB, but RB do not know how to manage their #2 drivers.

Very good video. I think Kvyat as Albon,Gasly,Tsunoda,De Vries are all victim of Verstappen influence at Red Bull. The care was created to suit Max and is very difficult for the other to drive. We see Tsunoda going nowhere with this team, keeping a very bad Perez in the RB seat and even a worst Dan Ricciardo at RB because they dont want to upset Verstappen family.

Except I don't see not racing in F1 as a negative thing, at most it's a boring show. WEC is a good place to be, it's in a new golden age. F1 lost its soul and passion long ago.
