Episode one of Season four has the guys look at a handful of items that came in this past week including the Lionel Fastrack Billups Railroad Grade Crossing, the ET44AC LionChief Plus 2.0 Diesel and the Lionel Doodlebug.
Other items include some new MTH freight cars and the Lionel "Weather" Balloon Defense 2-Car Set.
The "Train Shop" is their 85 year old family run model railroad shop, Henning's Trains in Lansdale Pennsylvania. They are model railroaders and not Audio Visual people, but they seem to enjoy themselves and we hope you do too.

Happy New Year's guys., There was a Kiddie City in the KoP mall years ago.......The Doodlebug at the Allentown & Auburn was owned by Carl Hostler.....he passed away about two years ago.

Hahahaha Walt didn't want to talk about the Conrail car lol. Weaver made that same Horseshoe curve box car years ago. It's actually modeled after the real car which I believe is at the Pennsylvania Railroaders Memorial Museum. Wow Harry knew about the Doodlebug without using Google unlike Walt lol.

Happy New Year! I have an MTH questions. Do people mix railing and premier rolling stock on their trains. I realize there is a size difference, but is it really noticible?

I've mixed MTH RailKing and Premiere rolling stock on my trains and if you're talking about most standard freight cars if there's a difference it's barely noticable. Passenger cars or modern freight cars like auto racks would be another story. It all depends on what railroad era you're interested in. I like the steam era so the older style freight cars mix well whether they're RK or Premiere. Does this make sense?
