I think the only thing you might've looked over was the role that each Clan in a hidden village plays. Sure "Clan Leader" isn't a shinobi rank, but they are still very influential people in their respective village. Like Konoha always walked a thin thight rope when it came to the Hyuuga and Uchiha, because they were so important within their village.

i paused your vid at your self-plug for the "Sakura is Kaguya's Vessel" vid and had an alternative theory to the one you present in that vid: She's not the vessel, but the 100 Healings technique is inspired by the Karma Marking. In other words - the 100 Healings is to Karma markings what the Rasengan is to the Biju-Dama. Hear me out here - from the parallel above, we _know_ that talented and capable shinobi can create functionally identical jutsu inspired by jutsu behind a certain "wall". So just as the Biju-Dama is "exclusive" to tailed beasts (and their Jinjuriki), Karma-Markings would be exclusive to Otsusukis. There is no reason not to assume that Hagoromo knew about Karma. In fact it is highly likely that he and Homura were well aware of that. Which is why they decided to _seal_ Kaguya instead of destroying her. From Boruto we know that Otsusukis can be "killed" and I'd be hard pressed to believe that the power-gap between Kaguya and her sons was bigger then Momoshiki and Boruto. So why did the brothers do the sealing thing and not the obvious alternative? As for how Tsunade new that? I could easily imagine that there were some scattered manuscripts by Hagoromo _somewhere_ that would explain the principle behind Karma (he did leave the uchina tablets after all). Whe she developed the technique she was in a _very_ vulnerable and desperate state (her lover and her little brother recently died after all). So it is not too farfetched to assume that she went out and researched ways to "heal the undhealable" and stumbled upon the remains of the aforementioned manuscript. Everything else was her just applying the same level of genius her son used (yes, I am in the "Tsunade is Minato's mom camp") to create a similar Jutsu to Karma. I thought the Daimyo were above the village elders in Naruto. Also, in Japanese history, the Daimyo were beneath the Shogun, at least on paper. The Shogun was the nominal ruler of the country and the Daimyo were the local feudal lords.

Good Video Nick with proper breakdown on the explanation of the Naruto World government structure. My biggest thought when listening to this was with the Gokage being strong as they are why did no kage ever just overthrow their Daimyo. Like he or she is the strongest shinobi in their country and they can just collect the taxes themselves. Specifically like in villages like the Sand where the people were struggling to make ends meet and Daimyo is off in their place in luxury I feel like would cause a rebellion at some point.
