A recent subscriber here, I am an Australian Sikh by choice since 1989 with no connection with 3HO, living between Singapore and India where my Punjabi wife and I have a small farm near Amritsar. 20 years back I had fleeting contact with American Sikhs and felt some kinship with them as fellow adopters of Sikhi. By chance, I also had random and separate encounters with Yogi Bhajan, Bibi Inderjit Kaur and one of his sons. None of these meetings impressed me enough to align with their organisation. Neither was I invited. I also briefly visited the Miri Piri School in Amritsar around 2000 and, as a soon-to-be teacher saw only secretiveness among the staff and an unwillingness to engage. I now understand why. This podcast was very informative regarding the maltreatment of children and saddening because I believe the torch of Sikhi needs to be passed to younger hands and not just Punjabi ones. The YB experiment clearly hasn't worked, infecting it with new age mahantism. Let us pray the Guru has a bigger plan.
