I dont see the problem with getting married young BUT (correct me if im wrong) I feel like you surround yourself with mostly people who are from your church and as far as im aware (through talking to people who are also a part of your church) people from your church tend to get married really young so its not as weird as it might be for people who aren't a part of your church if that makes sense

Idk how it works where you live or in general in the states but here in Italy it’s very unusual to get married at a young age because almost everyone goes to university for 3 to 5 years (sometimes even more) so there’s not quite the possibility to have a wedding (economically speaking) until you’re 25/26ish (or even more if you don’t get a job after). People are focusing on studying and getting a degree rather than thinking about a solid love relationship and stuff. Not saying one thing is better than the other, just wanted to point out that we have very different mindset, so I can understand why someone can be sceptical when you’re sharing ur story. Anyways I feel like u and Dallin complete each other so, I’m happy for your wedding! 😘

Love doesn’t doesn’t deserve to be put in a box. Not everyone knows that they have found their true love at a young age but that doesn’t mean you are wrong for getting married at a young age. At the same time, some people wait until they are much older and that’s perfectly fine too. Gods timing for everyone is different, no two people are the same, meaning people shouldn’t judge you because they aren’t you.

Hey Syd, love you to pieces! From someone who had the nexplanon implant for over a year and had severe issues with it, be careful. Lots of girls either bleed for 6-9 months straight (like me) or none at all. I'm sure you did plenty of research but I just wanted you to know that if you continue to bleed more and more and it becomes unusual for you, I'd go back to your OBGYN and just talk about it or see if there's something else you could do. I would love to hear some updates with you about it because I truly wish it would've worked for me! I'm wishing you the best with it!!! Hopefully, you are one of the lucky ones and don't have a lot of problems with it!! Stay safe and I am so happy for you and dal, sending all my love and support

My boyfriend (now fiance) just proposed to me and I'm 17 (hes 18) and we're moving in together In a month. No teen pregnancy no pressure just two mature people in love and ready to be committed to eachother no stereotypes or anything like that. That being said we have been met with some amazing support and some not so amazing commentary. Despite this it's great to know young engagements happen and people can be happy together no overthinking or negativity necessary just mature planning and thinking and plenty of love.
