Wow this is so crazy. I have blindly followed the law of attraction on and off for at least a few years now. And I 100% believed it. And I am a Christian. I believe your videos came into my feed for a reason

I was starting to listen to the book “Ask and it is given” and it all just started sounding so self centered. It didn’t feel right. GOD is in control. Not us. Thank you for this and I’m done with that crap and I’m putting my faith in GOD.

Thank you for talking about this. SO important to point out the difference between what LOA is expressing vs. the truth. I can't believe people would think that anyone who is suffering from something "brought it on themselves". Seriously??? That's so hateful! Can you imagine telling a parent that they're suffering a loss because they "thought negative thoughts". It's so disgusting, and I'm so glad you pointed it out.

God is so good to me. I actually planned to write scripts for my journal yesterday, but I noticed that I was too lazy to do it. Then I came to this video, and learned how bad is LOA. I don't want to think about LOA ever again. It's much better to put trust on the creator and pray for whatever we want for our lives.

LOA uses some Biblical principles and just take out the Principal (God). Praying to the creation instead of the Creator 🤦🏾‍♀️

I followed all the teachers of the secret and their teachers, including Abraham Hicks for years. God saved me out of that cult and I'm more joyful and have everything I need, not because I attracted it to me, but because God is good and kind.

I was into law of attraction for a few weeks; the aspect of positivity appealed to me. Part of why I left so soon was them telling me that my sister (who's been fighting Stage 4 cancer since September 2018) should think positively, change her diet, etc. instead of continuing with radiation and chemo. It was extremely hurtful, but I am thankful it kept me from getting more involved.

Nastasia, I am so grateful God brought me to your channel. Your videos on law of attraction have truly opened my eyes. Earlier this year I had found a youtube channel promoting the law of attraction. I was not a believer in God and I began binging this persons content, just soaking it up. I remember talking to my best friend about it and how the youtuber described that we had 100% control over our life. That this whole movement was "the awakening." She just kind of looked at me like wtf katie. Throughout our conversation, she was able to help me realize how messed up the whole concept was and just how crazy it sounded! A few weeks after that conversation, I called her to thank her. For a very long time I had hated God, I grew catholic but did not care for it. I didn't understand the concept of God. All I could see was the bad in the world, how unfair and unjust it was, and I couldn't grasp how people could worship a God that could allow all of this evil to happen in a world that He created. I had been down this spiral for most of my life, and yet even through my worst moments, God never stopped believing in me. When I called my best friend that day to thank her, that was the day I realized God had never left me. That was the day I truly realized how much influence and power the Devil had. And that what I thought was Gods doing was actually Satan. That day I chose to allow God into my heart again. I prayed, I asked for forgiveness, I cried, and I thanked Him for everything. That experience brought the most peace, relief, and overwhelming sense of love that I had felt in over 15 years. The past several months have been a little rocky, and I haven't been as spiritual as I would like. I truly feel that God brought your channel into my path to help me. To learn about LOA and find a youtuber who is a strong believer, someone that I can relate to and learn from. After watching your first video on loa, I was in shock. I had no idea about how deceptive it was. I was actually so shook that I ordered my first Bible that night. I got in the mail today and am excited to start reading it. Thank you for your channel, for being open and honest about your experience, and for sharing your love of God with us. I appreciate this as well and pray that as God has placed you on this platform that it pulls His children out of witchcraft and the grips of the enemy. As I learn, I always say it is a fine line. I cry out to God asking that He keeps my mind and heart and I pray discernment. Like you, I would hear things and read things and my spirit would be disturbed. Then I would wonder if I’m missing something. As I would hear “principles of success”, a scripture would come to mind, however, many times those who teach such things leave God out of it. This is what let’s me know it is not of Him and there is a mixing. The enemy creates nothing. Our Father in heaven is the creator of all. The enemy comes and manipulates His truths in an effort to capture the hearts of God‘s people. I appreciate you also sharing where these truths are mixed in with lies. My heart has been also for the church; that we also often times miss God because of how the enemy manipulates us with untruths that we reject things that are of God. For example, we won’t meditate because the enemy tells people to do so. That belongs to us. We are to meditate on His Word day and night. We are to think on what is good and true. I’ve also learned that scientifically there are things about our being, how God has created us, that gives us abilities to do as you described when you shared about learning to ride a bike; not being afraid to try again, basically it’s a matter of renewing our minds and we have organs within us that fuels this. It’s amazing! Glory to God! When you mentioned vibrations, also frequencies, there is scientific information out here that gives us an understanding of it all which has helped me to understand his word even more. I would hear, read things and would say, “that’s the Word”. I am seeking God for his truths, and I look to him to keep my mind and my heart in alignment with Him so that I will live my life as he would have me to. I used to be afraid to be in business because I didn’t want that to be where my heart was and I thought it meant all I wanted was money. I had someone tell me I shouldn’t want to go on vacations but only mission trips. See what I mean? It had me in such bondage. There is a religious spirit that keeps the Body of Christ from understanding who we are in Christ and keeps us from understanding our makeup in Him. Yet, the world (the enemy) taps into it, so we sometime back away completely opposed to seeking Him for the truth. Things like the power of life and death is in our tongue. THINK on these things... there is a reason for that. It purifies the souls (our mind, will and emotions). God has woven us and our gifts in us as we were in the womb of our mothers. These gifts are also sometimes desires in our hearts. He tell us if we delight ourselves in HIm, HE will give us these desires. But, they don’t just fall out of the sky, it’s through faith, prayer and believing. And faith is action. Without the works, it is dead, with the works it lives. And anything that has life, it feels, that’s emotion. What we feel about a thing will move us to action or non action... that’s the death of a thing. Our faith is shown by our works, by what we do. Again, thank you for this message. I am asking, seeking and knocking for truth and understanding. Thanks for allowing me to share. While i was watching this i was thinking: "but why would the enemy want people to be thinking positively if it's like the one thing he hates most and he wants people to be negative" but then i realized that if humans are 'happy' and positive then they'll believe this is their best life and that they gave this to themselves and won't ever need God. There is this love letter video from God, here on KZfaq, that He says that He has been misrepresented. LOA is that misrepresentation & manipulation. So happy & grateful to the Lord for rescuing me from all the damage. And to be quite honest, I have the side effects from it. I see things. And it's not pleasant. 😢 Lord Jesus Christ is ALWAYS with me, and I always have to refocus my mind on Him. The only way to retrain our souls is His scripture.

I am SO thankful to you for doing these type of exposure teachings. It is alarming the number of people who follow these practices whole-heartedly; yet profess to 'follow' Christ. Something the LORD taught me as He was helping me grow and develop my discernment is in Psalms 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Meaning, that satan nor the angels who left with him, can do ANY THING of their own originality. Everything they do and teach is a lie that has its origin in TRUTH. There is no middle or gray area. TRUTH or LIE. All he is capable of is refuting, disagreeing, or twisting what GOD has already spoken, created or given. We have the authentic and the counterfeit on this earth; so we must pray for our ears and eyes to hear and see TRUTH!!....so that we know when GOD'S cunning enemy is mixing a lot of good sounding words - 'christian-ese' and YES....ESPECIALLY scripture...the WORD - which is JESUS.....who was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. JOHN 1:1-5 and also 1 John 1:1-4. Please read those verses. The enemy's strategy is to ATTACK the WORD, THE TRUTH....and the WORD became MANIFEST. Jesus IS that Word. JESUS' first words to his disciples in Matthew 24 when they asked Him 'what shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world?' He said, 'Take heed that no man deceive you.' Satan's strategy against Eve in the garden was to distract, deter and then deceive her from the TRUTH that she already KNEW. 2 Thessalonians 2 (the entire but short chapter is SO important to read.) Verse 10-12 "And with all deceivableness in them that perish; because they received not the LOVE of the TRUTH, that they might be SAVED. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who BELIEVED NOT THE TRUTH, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." We MUST love AND believe the TRUTH!

Great video. What visualization and affirmations have done for me is to build my faith. I run a small business and decided to do it full time, and to counteract doubt and fear, I have begun to focus on biblical verses that speak to what I'm praying about, and continue to confess and affirm them daily. I also focus on the end result of what I've prayed for to counteract fear and doubt as well. Faith is the kicker and the tool that God requires from us, and I find these 2 techniques build my faith. Also generally I like the idea of being and feeling positive while waiting on God. So there are definitely some basic techniques that we can pull on as believers that are actually biblical. Last point - I too find the whole "universe" thing to be a huge insult and disrespect to God.

I so agree. Once I heard put it out in the "universe" that's where I drew the line. I took my vision board seriously for the first time year but use it as a everyday inspiration to help me work towards my goals but I don't say or think anything about the universe. I still pray to God for my hearts desire. I created vision board 2 times in my life only to participate in group events but then I would take the board home and put it in a close until I throw it away. One day I finally sat down and read about it to understand it's entire meaning. So to conclude, just be careful where you put your thoughts and energy. We as Christians must remember to put God first genuinely. 🥰

Exactly, you can't just ask an hope to attract. its not just imagine what you want and get it, its not like that. visualize, put effort into it, stay motivated and not get discouraged quickly. you also need to trust that some things will happen to help you grow for as long as you understand its part of growing. The Law of Attraction is science. Have you ever been around someone who only complains, talks about others in a negative way, feels like a victim? That's the law of attraction in action. On the other hand, think about what it is like to be responsible and not bring your problems to work. That's the law of attraction in action. Being responsible includes planning to get a good night's sleep. It also includes waking up with the alarm, having a reasonable of amount of time to get dressed. And those clothes being ready to wear, food ready to eat, or a plan in place for getting food, a car that is ready to drive, etc. etc. etc. The law of attraction is about doing. A vision board is like a "to do list" or a road map that you use even for small drives, such as to an event. You don't just sit in your house and wait...You are busy, active, energetic, purposeful. That's how a good day's work is done, how kids do their homework, excel in their desired sport, etc.

i wanna thank God that i watched this. lately i've been asking him whether i can use affirmations to change my body since its how our minds work and i wasnt sure if its a sin. i dont believe in vibrations or universe, i dont want to jump into anything dangerous and satanic. i just want God to bless those affirmations and pray for my desires as well. I got recommended your videos by KZfaq's algorithm because I had been looking for things to cure insomnia, which led me to guided meditations, which then led me to yoga nidra for insomnia, which led me to yogic teachings, which led me to videos on spirituality, which led me to videos on manifesting, and so it goes. I have seen two of your other videos in this series already, which were pretty rigid, yet in this one, it's clear that you are finally allowing the separation of technique or practice from ideology. I have seen a few of Hicks' videos, and I am not really drawn to them, but I do like the ones from Joseph Alai's channel since he does point out Bible verses regularly like Mark 11:24 and Matthew 17:20. In essence, you can get your true desires fulfilled by God in His time and in a way that benefits all involved and without causing permanent, irreversible harm to yourself and others. After watching several different takes on the subject from different schools of thought (e.g. Reality Transurfing, Neville Goddard, Hicks' version, etc.) and having gone to church for a few years, I do think that all of you do spend too much time on minutiae when the underlying message is to have unwavering faith and total conviction that what lies ahead will be done in your favor. As long as you pray to God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost), read His word, and intend no harm to yourself nor others, you can reclaim visualizing, goal setting, meditation, focused intention, and whatever else to succeed at all of your endeavors and enjoy great health and prosperity in this life and still be welcomed in Heaven. Look for the Christian counterpart to whatever method is presented to you, and use it to make your and everyone else's life better. For instance, for the dying baby and the Alzheimer's fear, I do think that acknowledging and surrendering that fear to God and praying and having the belief that the opposite will happen is the counterpart, and more practical version, of avoiding having a negative thought ever in Hicks' spiel. Also, don't worship money to then hoard it, but see yourself as grateful and blessed for receiving it and pay it forward to help others too. I am thankful that you are taking the time and thought to tease the useful and superfluous apart. May you continue to do so! 😁

if there's anything I know about law of attraction is that you don't attract you actually radiate what you are. So its what you are is what you'll attract but not just think of what you want and you'll get it, it doesn't work like that

What do you think of affirmations? Eg. I am beautiful, I am smart and backing that up with biblical verses? Is that okay? I think that if affirmations are used to raise your self esteem then it's fine. But if it's to force things into existence (eg. I have a million dollars) then it is clearly wrong. Prayer is much better. Is my viewpoint flawed? I don't want to start accidentally meddling with something dangerous. Thank you for this video as well!

I don't even know how to say this but THE LAW, is The Word of God. The law of attraction, c'mon people read the Bible. Jesus warns teachers from using The Law for the perverse ways of men. Please please know this, His word is Life. But you can perverse it. Selfishly. You can attract things for yourself, lure people into it and eventually discover YOU are part of whom the Bible says became lovers of themselves, money people who's "eyes" are open but still cannot see. Do not sell your soul for money. You may be served in this world and serve the wrong purpose in the next. Open your beautiful eyes. This is the reason we are children. Spiritual children. And we have a dad who gave us free will. Don't fall

I will say the idea of loa is to not hyper focus on the negative side of things. I'm not Christian or religious for that matter but I am very spiritual. I find that a lot of belief systems can offer beneficial advice, even if it's a small amount, as generally you are acknowledging there is some sort of higher power. Whether it be prayer, meditation or a mix of the two, you're humbling yourself, taking time to appreciate life/nature, and building a stronger connection with your higher power or God.

Nothing works for me: LOA, vision boards and (sincere, biblical) prayer. Even intercessionary prayer at my church... NOTHING!

The Bible says that GOD is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or THINK. So actually Satan is once again deceiving people into living beneath. Because with the law of attraction you only believe to receive what you think of. But we serve God who can do so so so much more than anything our imagination is even capable of. 🙌🏾

Also the other catch is that you could be potentially altering the physical universe via your vibrations and having things show up or change, but should you? Is it how God wants us to behave, is it appropriate? Is it heart centered living that aligns with Gods will?

I’m not Christian but I love your videos. Only thing that’s strange about this LOA thing is that I do partly believe it in the sense of remaining positive and working like you already have your goals but I don’t see the universe and God as separate. If that makes sense? I see universe and God as linked. He created the universe.

Ok.This might sound very stupid, but is it possible that I have ACCIDENTALLY practiced, or used law of attraction before? I really didn't know LOA existed until yesterday. I watched your videos, and it got me thinking about this phase in my life, where I had s crush on someone in my class (i was like 14 and stupid). But than that class "graduated" and i didn't get the chance to see him every day. SO I was constantly "praying" for like accidentally bumping into him on the streets, and stuff like that, and it literally worked pretty much every single time. I would go out, so confident, like i knew he was going to be there. Now, we live in the same, relatively small city and i go to school in the center of it, which is just more crowded in general so I'm not saying it's extremely unlikely that we would just bump into eachother, but I never met ANYONE that many times like that before. Even back than, i thought it was strange, like it cannot be a coincidance. And also, when I kind of stopped thinking about it, it really stopped happening all the time. Back then, I thought it really was God's hand in it, and I still think it is possible, but do you think it could be LOA?

The Law of Attraction sounds like rubbing a bottle and getting wishes from a Genie, and of course there is a price to pay for the wishes.

the reason I felt it was wrong in my (brief) practice was because there was a lack of trust in God. I have always known that if we believe in God, we do not receive anything that God does not want us to have even if we want it so so so badly. What we need when we need it, so the idea that I could bypass that provision seemed off to me; it must be accomplished wherein I would be removed from God. The Law of Attraction is based ENTIRELY on no faith in God, so the other option would obviously be trust in either nothing (which leaves room for the next option) or the "enemy". Scary stuff, scary times, many are being deceived. Thank you for sharing these videos, I am sure they are helping someone out there who needs it. God bless
