I had the Omega Sea Master Professional, its alright. I have now the Brand new 2023 LX spring drive, with the better grade 5 Titanium, great watch the LX, spring drive is more accurate than my old Sea Master, my LX is more accurate than my friends certified chronometer as well, i had this spring drive side by side on a time graph with the best of the Swiss watches, spring drive wins all the time for accuracy and durability.

Quick question - how do you measure a spring drive on a Timegrapher? Spring drive doesn’t tick.

@@MyMarshamYou measure it through an atomic clock app. Timegrapher doesn’t apply like in a Quartz watch too.

@@KirbyYoung Ah, thanks, OP said time graph, I imagined it was a Weishi. Got a couple Spring Drives myself, I don’t need any sort of measure to know their accuracy (+5 seconds per month).

It A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y is! I'm a happy owner of the brown limited edition LX. I own a new Seamaster, a Breguet 5157 and an AquaTerra. All great watches, mind you. Yet this one is the one mostly on my wrist. It is super, super insanely accurate, sturdy, light, beautiful, yet understated. Absolutely wonderful.

Kirby I agree with you 100%. People confuse Watch Size with Shoe Size - but thats not the case with watches as they are so many deciding variables to consider. I have a 6.5inch wrist like yours and i find great comfort wearing my STARGATE 44MM and MM200 SBDC061 (1st Gen) than say the 42mmSKX, 44mmSAMURAI Because of how they curvaceously contour to my wrist - whereas the SKX is floppy because it sits like a cup. Also, the LX and MM300 look exceedingly GREAT and MASCULINE on you because of your vascular lean strong arms. And also this style of watch is greatly complimented by your lifestyle and fashion style - the faded jeans and grey Tshirt looks good on you. Am American and if you notice American Watch KZfaqrs have no veins and wrists to speak of as they have subcutaneous fat. Their hands look swollen. Am currently in the market for SLA055 MM200 only 1300 were made. Thanks bro. Greetings ❤ from USA 🇺🇸. Malik

I just got an MM300. I’m loving it so far, great watch. Not sure I would go for the LX Diver as it is a stretch to keep going larger. But and GS sport watch with spring drive is still high on my want list.

Thanks! MM300 is still my favorite, both of these are my grails. A GS Sport is pricier than this one, but slimmer and dressier looking, which is not a bad thing, I just like the Diver tool look of the LX more. Cheers!

Hi Kirby, I love your videos. I have a question about this watch, do you know what the difference is between the SNR029 and the reference numbers that start with SBD? Also why are the ones that start with SBD less expensive?

Great question. SBDB027 is the Japanese reference number, while SNR029 is the international reference number. It is basically the same watch. The reason it is cheaper is because most sellers(in chrono and eBay) who post using the SBDB reference number are from Japan and are less well known. I actually bought one from a Japanese seller on Chrono. They mostly use the Japan reference number. You can find a good deal just by using that reference number alone. (Sbdc101 for spb143 for example).

Great question. I never tried for one hour, for a quick walk outside in the sun and indoor. The LX more long lasting. Maybe because the SLA021 is a bit older than the LX.

I’m really not sure but if you want to make it less obvious you can just put a rubber or silicone strap instead of using the bracelet. Especially if you are going to commute a lot. Maybe a nato strap would be better so that if one spring bar fails. The watch will still be attached.

my sbbn031 runs a few secs off a year. gotta have day date for me,,mine are the sbbn031 and the skx013 love them wearing tunas since 70s. sold my white face Daytona. was told by watch guy. dont wear Rolex in the ocean. mine ran crappy time and got too much attention
