The Palestinians responded with with violence, bloodshed, hypocrisy and rejection. In holy sites around the world, including mosques, there are metal detectors to protect worshipers. Only in Jerusalem do the Palestinians refuse them. The reason behind their rejection is to disconnect the Jewish people from their homeland.
