Truth #2 and #5 is what my daughter is going thru right now. Barely a month in Sydney she landed Aug 27....she have not seen the sites kasi work agad hinanap nya and she's feeling the pressure.. she's enrolled in a 4 year Bachelors course that may lead to PR.. so she's got a long way to go... im in the phil pero i help her find jobs online and helping her find a better place to stay...yung malapit sa work nya para pag off nya ng 10pm sa work di n sya mag bus pa... i think she'll manage but... it wont be easy... good luck sa inyo dyan and it would help a lot to have a friend makasama man lang for a walk... thanks

H ulit Ms. Dayanara, question, kailngan po ba full 2yr course ng cert ng Ece and diploma Ece para maqualify sa PR? Or kahit Diploma of Management for 1yr then ECe for 1 yr maqualify pa rin sa PR? Thank you

Yung package po na Cert and Diploma ang “sikat/common” na kinukuha dito then eventually nag aaral ng higher ed course to become an ECT teacher like si Jared Uy dito sa youtube or kung papalarin makakahanap ng mag-sponsor sa regional area as child care worker (group leader only). Better check po yung SOL kung ano yung mga skills na pwede mong gawing pathway.

Isa yan sa concern ko yung tuition fee, rentals at food. Di lang yung panu makapunta lang sa Australia. Kaya need talaga mag save ng enough na pera. Thanks for sharing this, very insightful

That’s a very good question. Keep on applying kahit andito ka na. Kahit may work ka na hindi in-line sa gusto mo don’t stop looking. Gandahan mo din ang iyong resume. Meron naman employer na tumatanggap pero i know marami ka marereceive na “your application will unlikely to progress” wag ka panghinaan ng loob and just keep looking.

Realistically po if ibabalik na po ang work limitations, magiging challenging na ang pagbayad ng tuition kung inaasa mo din sa work ang daily expenses mo. Yung padala paki-pending muna kasi ang priority mo is makabayad ng tuition.

Lower your expectation na “easy” maghanap ng work dito. Right now kasi maraming migrants ang naghahanap ng work at madami kang ka-kumpetensya na kapwa international student din from all over the world.

I have family members where I can stay with sa buong time ko if ever but still ayoko din iasa sa parents ko and other family members all the expenses. 🥲 Thanks for sharing your experiences there. Kinakabahan ako na hopefull since studying abroad talaga is not a very easy desicion. Dapat lahat pinaghandaan and you did your research well. Kasi especially if you want to be a PR there dapat focused ka sa goal mo na yun. Mahirap mapauwi. Sayang pinaghirapan.

I will ask po what’s your purpose bat kayo mag-aaral? Ma'am paano po usually ang term sa pagbabayad ng 2year course or yung vet? Per sem po ba? Second question ku po. Kung ibabalik ang working hrs restriction ilang total months lang po ba in one year na pwede tayu makapag work fulltime ?

Depends po sa arrangement nyo with your school yung pagbabayad ng tuition. As long as considered po na school holiday sa school calendar dun po kayo allowed mag unli work kapag binalik na po yung work limitations

@@askdayanara ok ma'am salamat po sa pagsagot . Question of the day ku po ito ngayun sayu. Kasi balak ku po mag ounta jan para mag aral vet course. If ibabalik na ang restrictions sa trabahu. May jbang paraan po ba maam na madagdagan ku po yung income ku na hindi ma trace ng authority. May narinig po aku sa isang agency na ang suggest na work daw ay yung walang pay slip kung baga cash on hand. May cash on hand po ba na nag oofer jan ma'am? Gusto ku kasi kumita pera ma'am baka ksi di aku maka kuha ng PR sulitin ku nlng time. At mag negusyo nlng aku pag uwi ku after 2 years. Hope mabigyan nyu aku idea ma'am about sa mgaways if possible ba madagdagan when time restriction ay ibabalik salamat pooo in advance sa pagsagot ma'am . 🙂🙂

Hindi ko po i-susuggest ang cash on hand na job, It is too risky po and bawal po talaga yun. nakakatakot po pag may nagsumbong pwede ma-cancel ang visa. at yung ibang employer po ineexploit yung worker kasi alam nila na desperate sa pera. below the minimum wage, walang benefits at kapag na-aksidente wala kang habol sa employer.

If you will be arriving before July 1 2023, Yes pwede ka mag-work prior to commencement ng iyong studies kasi po lifted pa until then ang work restrictions. If not, unfortunately hindi po allowed kasi isa po sa mga visa conditions ng mga naka-SV (visa conditions 8105) is bawal mag-work prior to commencement ng study.

Hi Let's do the math... let's say may mahanap kang work na ang pay is $ 23 tas full time hrs na 38 hrs/wk = $874/wk gross pay yan wala pang tax. $874 x 4 wks= $3496 a month. So kulang kasi wala pa dyan yung bayad sa rent, food, transpo and phone bill if self-fund mo lahat ng expenses. Kapag $25 x 38 hrs = $950 x 4 wks = $3800 Kapag $28 x 38 hrs = $1064 x 4 wks = $4256 Kapag binalik ang work limitation na 40 hrs/ fortnightly mas lalo kang mahihirapan to pay tuition. sa pagkakaalala ko my class before the pandemic may 1 hr na for minor and 2 hrs for major for lectures and then may 2 hrs na workshop/tutorial. After pandemic, naging 1 hr lecture is & 1 hr na workhop/tutorial na lang.

Depends po sa level of study may mga VET course na 1-2 yrs tas kapag bachelor madalas 3 yrs. Masters usually 2 yrs.

Hello, yes allowed po to enter Aus 90 days prior to start ng classes. If you arrived before July 1, 2023 pwede mag-work prior to commencement ng class pero kapag after bawal po kasi balik na ulet ang work restrictions.

Hello, mahirap sya pero depends kung magkano po ang tuition mo. Be financially prepared kasi enough lang ang kikitain mo for your daily expenses kapag binalik na ang work limitations next year.

If you will only depend sa income mo to pay your tuition, magiging mahirap. Mahal ang tuition for higher ed course so please make sure you have enough money to support your studies.

Ang part time po ba is hindi necessary na related sa course na ina aral mo? Kailan mag aaply yung dapat related ang course mo sa trabaho Kapag nag graduate na ba?

Hindi naman required na related sa course na kinukuha mo yung part-time mo dito. Pero syempre may advantage if related. If you want to apply for PR after your studies, it is better to work na inline sa course mo because you can claim points with relevant work experience.

If before June 30,2023 pwede ka mag-work prior commencement ng class kasi lifted pa din ang work restrictions until then but after that bawal po. It’s one of the conditions sa iyong student visa na bawal mag-work prior commencement ng class.

Nakagastos po ako ng around 600k. 400k for tuition and 200k for misc such as tickets, medical, visa fee, oshc etc

If you have dependent, dalawa kayo pwede mag-work. Tipid tipid na lang talaga. Basta may motivation kakayanin! 💪

Hello, depende po sa arrangement nyo with the school ang schedule of payments po pwede weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Although may mga uni po na required to pay ang 1st term in full especially kung higher ed course po ang kukunin nyo.

Hi Renzo, yes tama ka na may extension if sa regional area ka natapos at tumira while on your 1st TGV na post study work stream. But Canberra is kasama sa Category 2 so additional 1 yr lang po ang extension immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/regional-migration

Thank you for this info po. Ask ko lang po if makakahanap ka po ba agad ng job pagdating dun? By that I mean any job like cleaner, factory worker etc. Kaya ko pa yung gastos papunta pero feeling ko hanggang 1 month lang yung allowance ko and I'm worried baka matagal makahanap ng work. Hindi ko na alam gagawin if ganyan mangyayari 🥲

una mong gawin is contact your school about sa situation mo. maybe they can help by offering installment payment. If hindi na tlga kaya, you will be in breach of your visa condition.

The school will report you na di ka na naka-enroll. Once ma-notify ang home affairs na in breach ka na makakareceive ka ng email then may 28 days ka to find a new visa or uwi.

Mahirap po pagkasyahin ang kita sa 20hrs especially kung higher ed course. Yung iba po may tumutulong na family dito. Not advisable po ang cash on hand kasi ma-exploit po ang worker at the same time risky kapag nahuli pwede ma-cancel ang visa.
