Why am I a KZfaqr? Allow me to give you my sincerest truth.
Yes, I like to be acknowledged, and also eventually, when my channel grows more, I will earn money that will make a difference in my family's life but I assure you there is more to it than that.
The reasons I started on KZfaq are not the same reasons I remain focused on KZfaq. So please allow me a few minutes to share my reasons with you.

You are so right, really like the content. It feels more real when you can relate to the struggle 😅 it’s fun to see super fast people aswell, But to see normal strong 💪 guys struggle in the workouts and then see the improvments in the journey motivates me aswell to go out end give my all and try my best, even if it’s a 25 min 5k or 5 hour marathon 😅 running takes time to improve sometime, so try to enjoy the moment you are in aswell ❤

There's no question that especially in the early days when I started out at the start of Covid lockdown, it was definitely the average runners who I found most inspiring on KZfaq! Running KZfaqrs have motivated me sooooo much, especially Kieran Alger from Manvmiles when he ran the entire length of the Danube back in the summer of 2022... following him every day literally changed my life, especially my attitude to one of adventure, and he inspired me to slowly go for bigger and bigger running feats myself, feats I never ever imagined possible for me!! Last week I broke my weekly volume PB hitting 175km with 3600m of altitude in 7 days!!😄💪🏃‍♀💪 (that's 109miles and 11800ft) What a hoot!!!!

@@EBoone503 Well what really works for me is every couple of months I give myself a challenge , like a 5-day challenge or a 10-day challenge or a 1-month challenge etc, based on what would definitely be hard but doable for my current level. One of my first big challenges was when I first ran 500km in a month ... but now I do quite a bit more than that every month!! Another thing I do is to choose a Greenway Cycle Path on the map, or an entire canal, or the river that runs through my town, and run the entire length in sections of 20-40km per day until it's done!! Last autumn I ran the entire GR01 hiking trail around the entire Ile-de-France... over 800km of amazingly gorgeous trails! It's amazing how much I've progressed since I got the adventure spirit! BUT you gotta go slowly and steadily, and educate yourself continually, listening to your body! I listen to running physio Brodie Sharpe's Run Smarter Podcast religiously!!! And RUN HAPPY!!!😁

Those HR zones seem very high! In Garmin Connect, if you go More > Garmin Devices > User Settings and then Heart Rate Zones, what is your Max Heart Rate set to (the box at the bottom of that page)? For example mine is 187, and that gives me Z3 at 131-149, Z4 at 150-167, and Z5 is 167+.

You don’t do reviews, you do out-of-the-box breakdowns and sell shoes & services. What’s amazing about you is people think they’ve received a shoe review - and never consider you don’t know what any shoe is like at the 100 mile mark, do you? You know the specs, the sales points to hit on from the shoe maker - but that’s about where it ends. That video cover thumbnail of the "no more shoes video", ever consider how not a single pair appeared to have any wear? You’re so engaging it does not matter. In watching you, people lose their sense of awareness of what they’re actually seeing and what they're not (insight or opinion of a shoe after regular actual use) - that's rare talent and very special. Your engaging personality soars over your lack of knowledge about what you’re talking and that’s more valuable anyway. Lots of people know about running, far fewer can project a personality to get someone to disrupt brand loyalty and drive consumerism, get people to buy an overpriced shoe, based really on little more than how you talk about the shoe and present the shoe. You're an example of how ‘what you say’ is nowhere near as important as ‘how you make people feel'. Again, unique and special talent. You're on KZfaq building a promising business and doing an amazing job.

Aubrey we must talk. I’m getting closer to starting my own Chanel dedicated to the older runner. I have 20 years experience and 5 marathons under my belt including 4 of the majors. I believe we are on the same side of the KZfaq fence though our approach to running and training couldn’t be more different but I believe we are never too old to learn and we could learn from each other? I think you said you are contactable through instagram is that correct? I don’t have that at the moment but I could if that’s the way forward and you are willing? You’re filming is fantastic and I have much to learn from you and in return my years of experience maybe of use to you too as you begin your own marathon journey? Let’s talk? Ian
