The Adidas Road To Records experience was literally the best running moment of my entire life. At the end of the event, I raced the 5K attempting to break 22:26.
To help me achieve this, I had the amazing Meaghan from @Believeintherunand through it all, I am pleased to share with you the best video I have had the pleasure of producing.

Awesome video Aubrey. I just did a PR 5k three days ago. I'm a 49 year old, 205 pound weight lifter, and only started running a couple of years ago. I went out for a long slow run on Sunday morning (training for a half-marathon in 3 weeks), felt like crap and thought "how about a short fast run just to get this over with?" and proceeded to run my fasted mile ever (7:38) and 5k (24:38). It's the unexpected performances that make running fun for me--always trying to find my limits and trying to be smart and disciplined enough not to push too hard too soon or slow down when my brain tells me to. Or it was just the magic shoes doing their thing (Hoka Cielo X1s)...

Doesn’t sound strange at all. I’ve learned to love the peaks simply because of the valleys I’ve been through and still going through at times. Just the beauty of life. We therefore have to give thanks for the peaks when blessed with them

Your heartrate graph looks absolutely like a malfunction.

Might be cause but I can assure you those numbers aren’t far off. I think there may be a skew somewhere by the peaks because it flattened out but I genuinely believe the average and the max. You would have to look at previous high intensity runs
