Yeah, really believe that do you? Of course they would. I think they're gonna do something to my daughter. Just not too long ago, she went to the hospital. This was Kaiser. She went to the hospital and she had a stomach pain. They asked if she wanted pain medication. She said no, then she didn't call me for a long time. She spent the afternoon there called me that night. Because she was mad at me and after she called. I got there. And she was like drugged up. Somehow just totally dragged up. And the doctors looked at me like I gave her like heroin or something but because when I got there. They said she was fine all afternoon until I got there. And then they narconed her She snapped out of it and and then kicked us out of the hospital. I was just beside myself. I was so horrified at what they thought so. Yeah, they would do stuff like that. I don't know what they were gonna do to her, but they drug her up somehow. After she denied any kind of medication. Do you also inform me after she woke up with that? They kept asking her all afternoon. If she had family she wanted to call her. She's kept saying no, no I don't have any family. No, they thought she didn't have any family and that she was one of the organ donors. That's what I'm thinking. Don't don't even believe what you just said cause it's not true. I had a dentist hack me up. Took out my friend Yulin without even telling me. I couldn't even spit for 4 days. I couldn't lift my lyft up to see what he had done to me for 10. Oh yes, they would do stuff like that and he never told me what he did. I got all my money back. You know, but that was that's that was screwed up. Come on, really.

Tuskegee is quite literally one of if not the most horrific and simply unnecessary human experiments of all time. The Nazis did horrible shit, yes, but the fact these corrupt pieces of trash could make doctors ignore their oaths to do no harm, which by inaction, by not helping they were doing precisely a fucklot of harm. That makes it more chilling to me than the visceral horror of what happened in those laboratories.

@@MakoShark890 in terms of straight up death toll yeah that’s worse sure, but the fact that these people were consciously denied treatment from professionals who may not have even been practicing when the barbarous experiments were beings initialized. It’s the scale of the corruption of the practice of healing, into a practice of corrosive harm and desecration of people and their children, which just disturbed me. Perhaps it’s merely the novelty of the Tuskegee experiments that led me to speak my thoughts how I did

I knew about it, the same things you said here, but what I didn't know was that the experiment was extended to some latinoamerican countries too. And no one has been punished by it, bc its local government says it was US project, but considered out of the their reach by US government. No one has received justice.

This is actually partly correct. There wasn’t a cure for syphilis when the study began and was in fact using various different potential treatments in the beginning. Once penicillin was discovered and was shown to be able to treat syphilis, this is where the study became unethical and wrong. The participants in the study were not given penicillin, they were given passes from the draft for WWII, and they continued in the study until they died or the expose showed what the DOD had done.
@nevermindmeijustinjectedaw9988
@nevermindmeijustinjectedaw9988 Жыл бұрын
so... it was precisely what they signed up for with the added benefit of being able to avoid the draft?
@colfax13
@colfax13 Жыл бұрын
@@nevermindmeijustinjectedaw9988 The study began in 1932….. The WWII first draft began in 1940, eight years after the study had started. Blacks weren’t even drafted until 1943, eleven years after the study had started. While penicillin had been discovered in the 1920s, it wasn’t isolated and purified and in an injectable form until 1941, nine years after the study had started. Even though penicillin had been made to be available in an injectable form by 1941, it’s production and availability was limited until 1944. The first person treatment based Study wasn’t published until 1943, with the first person being treated with penicillin being in 1940. So while penicillin was “discovered” in the 1920s, there wasn’t a single human treated with penicillin for nearly 20 years. It is ultimately disingenious to claim that the Tuskegee study was unethical and wrong due to a treatment being available at the time of the start of the trial in 1932, as this is factually wrong. Once penicillin was readily available, and the decision was made to withhold the treatment from the participants, the study became highly unethical.

@@BlackNook what problem? This study is over but look at the wealth gap, incarceration rates, and education differences between races. Even if black people claw their way up and get a home, that property will be considered lower value because the owner is black. Theyll still be victim of more legal abuses: even military personnel in time off get profiled by cops, and schools in their areas(yes they are coralled by "property values") underperform. Even if the public sector wasnt racist, which is unlikely considering voting accessibility differences between races to name one thing, the private sector has systems which propel racism.

That is such a repulsive amout of money , maybe 100 million per person would have been more like it. Can you imagine if all the doctors were sent list and your. name is on it. I feel like my name may be on a list. So many doctors these days just don't care about people any more. It's like they are annoyed by our presence if your can even get an appointment before you die. 10 million split vetween 600 men and their women and children. How do they sleep at night...that comes to 16,600 per man . That does not include their wives and children. Wow. My prayers go out to those men and their families
