Hercules (or Herakles in the Greek) needs to finish the last five tasks on the list before he will have properly atoned for murdering his family, but it isn't going to be so easy. The king, seeing that Hercules has completed the tasks declares that two of them are invalid since Hercules got outside help. And I guess that's technically cheating? More sidequests abound and we meet a familiar face from an older Extra Mythology!

Well... he could not. Him and the king were kin. When it was time for them to be born, Hera tricked Zeus that the first child of the line that was going to be born, would become king. Zeus accepted it and proclaimed it so. The Hera went to the goddess of births and directed her to Eurystheas, which was born prematurely at 7 months and then Heracles was born. So he could not go against a degree that was promised in the waters of the river Styx.

Heracles is definitely a Rogue/Paladin who put his expertises into Deception and Persuasion. Also I love the look you gave Hades. Regal and smug, as any Greek god should be, and without the fire and brimstone stuff that just makes him Greek Satan.

I love how, in watching these, I've come to realize that the God of War games are really just a giant mash up of all these Grecian myths. It's like, if you've played those games and paid any attention to the story, you learn an incredible amount of history in a game centered around mass killing. Man, I sure do love video games.

They did a pretty wild mashup or Norse theology as well, so I'm looking forward to what they do with my personal pantheon! Plus, now I have my favorite representation of Loki's snek son thanks to them. Video games, man. They do be good.

Extra Credits: I don't know what your house rules for D&D are, but 5E "Rules as Written" (RAW) states that you don't get "points" for inspiration. Instead, you're given the ability to roll Advantage on the roll of your choice or Disadvantage removed on a roll of your choice. The Inspiration box is a boolean value, not a numeric one.
