This song always gets me, (it's about to get feelsy) I was put in a high security mental hospital for about a month, the hospital was very scarring for me and the other patients, because your guardians would sign an agreement for treatment, and using that the hospital enforced heavy punishments, and regulations. It was hell. The lyrics describe how it was for us in the adolescent male ward. Whether or not your buddy would go home, whether or not you could go home, and finding out you aren't... We never knew why we deserved to be in such an awful place, "I dont know where it all went wrong" we always wanted to leave that God forsaken place, but at the same time we didn't want to leave. Nobody wanted to be there, and Nobody wanted to leave there.

On wet Tuesday Night when this was recorded James mum and were the only people there out with production team I had to turn away from watching them as I had tears rolling down my face at how beautiful this was, what a moment, what a feeling😹

Such an amazing voice - I prefer this version to the full album one - but both are incredible to be fair!

Quoting directly from Cormac McCarthys The Road. it's my favourite from his book: "Nobody Wants To Be Here & Nobody Wants To Leave"?

Umm. Been searching for you guys live, and it surprises me how little there is. You are one of my top 5 bands ever, and I'm a Swede. These are the bands I've always wanted to see live: Röyksopp, Modest Mouse and YOU. If I remember correctly, you were the band who played before (like a fore band) Modest Mouse in Barcelona once...? Around maybe 2015...? I was SO JEALOUS of him. Because of Modest Mouse, yes, but I'd prefer your music any day of the week. I feel like a fangirl now, so I'm going to stop. D:

I prefer when you are yourself James ... (sorry it's not so kind ...) but your voice, the sound behind and your scottish accent is better more brilliant than an pale shade of Ian ... :) i found a new sound, that 's so great ! and as Robert said, If you were here a few years ago, you would have be in the Cure 's weel :) keep singging you're great !
