I literally find out that my WL Toys 144001 has a big brother today, then Kev reviews it a few hours later! I think I'm probably sticking to my upgraded 144001, I like how mine it is, and now compact it is. I could always get the extended chassis, drive shaft, body shell, and top deck in the future, though.

It's amazing what you can get with the cheaper brands these days. I bought one of those little white Japanese trucks for my neice and nephew to play with, they love it. Easy to drive and actually really tough. Haven't broken it yet.

N00b question: how much difference does removing the wing make to the jumps!? I'm guessing the answer is "some" 🤷‍♂️ If it made lots of difference an active wing would be cool (but probably fragile!) to actually invert it in to a plane wing 😆

I use mine for mild jumps, a lot of fun to drive. Brakes alot , mostly front axles. Pretty fragile car but I'd buy it again.

you should try out the sandy land. just drove it and accidentally hit a pole. not even a scratch! and the box says it goes 30+ mph but in reality it goes like 10-20

Great until you break something, then its a month or more waiting for replacement parts. I am speaking from experience. I have a Wltoys 959b (fortunately not my only car lol). They need to stop using 5 wire servo's.

Yep, it goes about the same speed as the 144001. Poor 144001. It was such a hype when it first came out. I've been trying to decide between the a959b and the 12429 for a while because I didn't know if I wanted extreme durability but slower speed or extreme speed but less control. Then came out the beast, the 144001. It was no question. But really, the 124019 is probably just better for looks, size, and control. Both still amazing cars. To be honest, the 144001 is probably more durable anyway because of its shorter chassis. I don't regret the 144001 one bit!

@@ryansafar967 For sure. Definitely has a lot to offer, especially with that added controllability. Maybe I should've waited a little longer (meaning 1 ENTIRE YEAR) to get this car over the 144001, but my entire life, I've had slow, toy-grade RC cars. By golly, how happy I am that I finally got a fast RC car. I guess I'm lucky I waited for the 144001, otherwise I probably would've gone with the a959b!

Hey Kev, I don't know if you know this but people have started to find the problem with the xlx2. If the xlx2 is in sensored mode *it will catch fire*. You need to put it in Smart sense mide as the sensored mide cant compute at max rpm and causes it to malfunction, and catch fire. Hope this helps
