Actually, they've now been on Immortal Songs 6 times and won 4.😊 Yes, the video was referring to the Big4 companies: HYBE--BTS, TXT, Seventeen, New Jeans; JYPE--Stray Kids, Day6, Twice, Itzy; SME--Shinee, EXO, NCT, Aespa; and YGE--Blackpink, Treasure (this isn't an all inclusive list of their groups).

While I am still a baby Atiny and only been listening to ATEEZ for a few months, I love seeing new people discover and learn about these amazing boys. My biases are Seonghwa and San. Two of the sweetest, most caring people off stage that turn into demons on stage. That being said all of the boys are incredibly talented and amazing human beings. I am very much looking forward to the rest of your journey. While I love all of their music, my favorite songs are from the later albums. Take Me Home, Not Too Late, and Be With You are amazing b-side ballads from the Fever albums. And the World albums are on repeat in my car constantly.

My bias goes back and forth between Yunho and Hongjoong, but the more I watch of them the more I love all of them. When the guide says we need to give Yunho more appreciation for his dancing, it’s really because a lot of people tend to pay more attention to the fiery demon line (Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and San) for their performance skills, while Yunho has a more cool and smooth aura on stage that some can overlook. But every performance he is so stable and clean, just lovely to watch 🥰

Yunho is actually ranked Radiant on Valorant. Crazy right? I really love all 8 members but I guess I pay some more attention. Seonghwa ( caring and goofy personality is most relatable to me) and Yunho (literal ball of sunshine) are the main ones and then Jongho cause he is our boss baby with a golden voice. Obviously gotta love Captain Hongjoong, he is the reason we are all here and he shows Atiny so much love too. San is a lovely and sensitive human being, Yeosang's progress as a singer is heartening to follow, Wooyoung is affectionate as well as a laugh riot and Mingi is our wonderful rapping princess. (He calls himself a princess.) They all work very hard and deserve the world.

The only group I can't decide on a bias is Ateez, literally love all of them and they're my ultimate K-pop group along with BTS. They are so amazing they have 3 main dancers, but honestly they all could be main dancers and a legit dance crew. The talent they all have is mindblowing and I love seeing them grow and gain more attention ❤

Bias for me is Seonghwa and that has been firm for me since Inception. Mingi was the first member I noticed but Seonghwa has taken over. But having followed them for years now, I like how much they have grown in skill and confidence

My bias is Yunho. I just fell madly in love with him. He is very talented, his dancing skills and voice are phenomenal, and his sense of humor is close to me. I think I'm ot8, but yes, ult is Yunho.

Yeosang is my bias... And has been since I first discovered Ateez shortly after their debut. He caught my eye first, even with the little amount of lines he was given in songs, but as I watched their online content, his personality solidified it for me. But honestly all the guys are loveable and I'll always root for all 8 of them.

Yeah.. with Ateez I have whole ass bias and wrecker lines. The biases are San, Mingi, and Seonghwa. The rest of em are wreckers. Basically whoever is on screen rofl 🤣

I'm Yeosang biased but love all of them! And yeah, you caught it right that like Dreamcatcher they are much more popular abroad than in SK. It's very unfortunate but heavier music/concept and not coming from a big company is somehow a big hurdle for the Korean audience. I would say that Ateez is very different from other groups because they bring a lot of musical theater in their performances AND music, especially the World album series sound basically like cohesive rock-opera cinematic pieces. I love everything about it but it's not everyone's cup of tea, especially in their home country. They still get major wins and grow exponentially with every comeback but I would argue, not as much as they deserve.

20:43 Yes, all the series are subtitled and available on KZfaq. Kingdom, when you're ready for it, is best watched via viki with subtitles because they also subtitled the lyrics (which the YT versions don't). 24:04 is a remixed version of Wave, still upcoming for you. 42:15 I'm OT8 biased. My bias is whomever is on the screen. 45:47 Despite being the main dancer, Yunho isn't as recognized for his skills as often as a San or Seonghwa. There's something about the demon line that makes them stand out, and while Yunho is an incredible performer and outrageously good dancer, his personality is less... over the top? That's not exactly right, since he's as described, being goofy and funny and everyone's boyfriend. He's just not as much of a stand-out, I think because he's just THAT good. But when you see him on Idol Radio as a host with Hong Joong, and they learn other groups' choreography, he's quick, perfect and gives it his own flair. He's truly amazing. 47:46 the Spiderman pose was the start of making the crowd do the wave. 57:06 I'm a chicken lover. Legs are juicier, breasts just have a lot more meat on them, but can be too dry. So glad you're doing the guides, and yes, it IS a good guide, and I'm glad in the revision that you get to hear them give their own name, because computer voice can jack it up sometimes. :) Part II here I come!

Seonghwa is my bias, but I love them all. Seonghwa is just so kind and open. I love the way he sings (range and tone), and how in character he gets even when he is off camera (his fancams are great!). Along with involuntarily following him while he is burning the stage down, somehow I also find myself happily watching him quietly building Star Wars Lego sets for 3 hours or doing whatever he happens to be obsessed with at the time. I also love how he is unapologetically silly and soft. I think he appeals to people who are maybe feel they are a bit different than the ‘cool kids’. They really are all great. I seem to focus on different members at different times. Jongho also is just amazing, undeniably talented. As an aside, you should watch his performance of IU’s Love Poem on Kingdom with Stray Kids’ Seungmin and BTOB’s Eunkwang. Or listen to his solo song Gravity. He is brilliant.

It's nearly impossible to bias only 1 member of Ateez, you'll find that most of the Atinys have at least 2-3 biases and huge number of them are OT8. My ult bias is Hongjoong, but Yeosang and Jongho are VERY close second... Members of Ateez are all so talented and have personality traits I can relate to so it's extremely hard to make a choice and stick to it.

I've know them for over 4 years now and since day one my bias was and is San, to the point that he is my ult bias now (of all the groups I follow he is my favorite). With time and getting to know them more Yunho came to be my second bias, I don't like to call him a wrecker bc I don't think anyone could take that place from San, so he is my second bias 😂😂. But I love love all the guys, I'm so fond of them, they are my safe place, they are amazing. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm really enjoying watching you take in all this info and glad you think the guide is amazing. The time it must have taken to put this all together then update it with these more recent clips and facts. I never get bored watching people react to it. As for biases, it's impossible not to love every one of them but San, Wooyoung and Hongjoong are my bias line. San mainly because 1) he is art on stage, 2) his voice is incredibly versatile and heavenly and 3) he is seriously adorable off stage. Hongjoong is literally the coolest, sassiest person to exist yet at the same time a huge goofball, he was the first of the group that I noticed on Kingdom with his soft spoken charm. And Wooyoung is my ult bias - he has a beautiful singing tone, his dancing looks so free and cool but the key is his loud, boisterous, cheeky yet sweet personality. So yeah, 3 biases and 5 wreckers.

My bias is San. He was the first who caught my eye (his facial expressions are just chef's kiss) and since then nothing changed. But all members are like pieces of a puzzle, without anyone the picture is incomplete. 8 makes 1 team! Fighting!

The pronunciations of some of the names are a bit off since it’s an AI voice. Any ‘A’ sound in Korean is like ‘Ah’ (San = Sahn, Yeosang= Yo-Sahng). Mingi is like Min-Gee (hard g like green), and Wooyoung is Oo-young, silent W. The rest are pretty close if not correct! Edit: And my bias is Seonghwa! He’s in my profile pic haha. Also thanks for doing this guide, it’s the best Ateez one to date 😊

Love your reaction as allways 😊 Before I knew Ateez I recognized Seonghwa and Wooyoung while watching Kingdom ( there are videos of the performances with the other groups reacting) then I saw these 2 again ( was easy as Seonghwa had red hair and Wooyoung black/blonde) when they performed Rhythm Ta and that performance is one of my favorite Kingdom performances and thats when I decided to check them out. And my bias is OT 8 because I simply canˋt decide. They are all good dancers/ performers, I love their voices no matter if it’s rapping or singing. Whoever is in front is delivering but if you concentrate on the background, they are delivering too. Can’t wait for part 2 Btw they recently won Immortal songs for the 4th time 🎉

If you're looking for a pronunciation guide, this video is not it. While extremely informational, it's narrated by an automated voice AI and is not accurate. I recommend going onto their Members Profile page and finding the Hangul for their names and then pasting them into a translator app. That will be significantly more accurate. For example, right off the bat the voice AI pronounces Mingi as 밍이(Ming-ee), but it's spelled 민기 (Min-ghee).
