Kickoffs in Rocket League can either make or break your game, and be the difference between a win and a loss, which is why it is ESSENTIAL that you must get a good kickoff so that this doesn't happen to you. As I have probably done almost 100,000 kickoffs in my time playing Rocket League, I have the best 3 kickoffs that you can learn and use, ranging from beginner to advanced. Oh hi! didn't see that you mentioned me! lol I hit diamond because of the speedflip. Do it, it literally will send you flying up in the ranks. I mastered the speedflip in plat fyi.

Am gold 3 and I can almost speed flip the problem is that sometimes I backflip and allot to times I don’t hit center of the ball or I go under the ball instead making the ball going over me making me lose the kickoff rn I been losing so much I been derankings allot so ama just stick to my normal diagonal kickoff and when am like plat 2 or diamond ama do it again or ama just spend hours in free play practicing which one should I choose try speed flip only in training for practice or completely stay away from it until I hit plat 2 or just keep trying it even tho ama lose allot of kickoffs trying it.

What I recently learnt about the forward flip is to keep holding forwards until you land and that way the car will meet the ground properly instead of hitting the ball still in the air

After watching this video and trying out new kickoffs in free play i jumped into a 1s game and won 80% of my kickoffs before he rage quit after I was beating him 4-1. Thanks for this.

Speed flips are in my oppinion so easy to understand but i have only seen very few tutoriaös which explain it that easy to people who dont understand rocket leauge terms

if you guys didnt know, (on pc) if you hold w or your forward move button and air roll button that u have to have binded( just the button not with shift/ctrl) you can diagonal flip, and that is HUGE for the speed flip. AND THERES BARELY ANY PPL THAT KNOW THAT

I am champ 3 and I still just front flip to the ball haha. I never found a good tutorial for the diagonal flip so I just ignored it. I can speed flip most of the time but not enough to risk it outside of my 1s matches. I will try this out.

0:35 this is so funny to see idiots saying idiotic stuff like "you only score on kick-off" or "you always score from my mistakes but you suck". Well... Maybe if I am able to consistently score on kick-off again and again, chances are you are doing something wrong? Same goes for scoring in open net, it was you who gave me the opportunity to do that.

God this hurts me so much. I don't have anyone to talk to. I need a physical coach to help me see what's wrong. Ive tried for 2 hours straight and I can't get the super sonic to trigger and rarely do I actually hit the ball. Idk what I'm doing wrong.

If u air roll and do a normal front flip it makes a perfect diagonal flip with no errors and it easyier with practice and i do this 2 and it is so much better

I’m a d3 and using the speed flip anywhere below diamond is pretty op as you will have the upper hand in most kickoffs (most of the time for me it’s not the opponent, but me who messes up the flip)

Hello sir, I was wondering what the proper etiquette was for what each player’s responsibility is in each position with all the different starting formations. Some formations are more obvious who’s supposed to do what. Sometimes the goalie position decides to go grab a boost, is that proper? Stuff like that, no worries if you don’t see this 👍🤝

So,e times the goalie will chest up with you or go for boost, neither is or correct, just be prepared to save a kickoff goal if things go wrong

Spatial rift, default color, it’s from last rocket pass but it’s not tradable unless it’s painted so the exact one he had u can’t get unless you played during last rocket pass

I mean lethamyr uses the standard front flip and still slaps the younger pro 1’s players in money matches, and he’s one of the most prolific pros in rl history. If you can make it work you can make it work

@@goulvenpierrain2166 He's doing a speedflip, I just compared the control movements side by side and they're identical, he even holds air roll for both clips lol. I'm assuming he messed up the edit or something but it's definitly a speed flip.
