The end credits in Minecraft, after going over them again, absolutely blew my mind. It's shocking and saddening to me in a weird way that most people skip them and just see them as a "touch some grass kid lol" statement. It's fourth wall breaking and genuinely an interesting concept; two God-like beings discussing not just the player, but the person behind the player. The fact that there are two God-like entities discussing the player after the defeat of the ender dragon (as well as the "Free The End", "The End?", and "The End." achievements) leads me to believe that these two beings are somehow directly tied into the lore of the end and the ender dragon. The constant references to the game as "the short dream", and real life as "the long dream" also play a significant role. Specifically the following quotes: "No. It has not yet achieved the highest level. That, it must achieve in the long dream of life, not the short dream of a game." "But there are times it is sad, in the long dream. It creates worlds that have no summer, and it shivers under a black sun, and it takes its sad creation for reality." "Take a breath, now. Take another. Feel air in your lungs. Let your limbs return. Yes, move your fingers. Have a body again, under gravity, in air. Respawn in the long dream. There you are. Your body touching the universe again at every point, as though you were separate things. As though we were separate things." I like the last line the most, it implies that we are all our own God and have the power to change anything that we desire. The two beings discussing us and our success in beating the ender dragon are a part of us. And that makes the credits of Minecraft one of my favourite parts of the game, lore speaking.

Most people are unaware, but the original "Removed Herobrine" was actually in reference to a bug that was codenamed Herobrine. What this bug did, was made you randomly die for no reason. Something you didn't mention about Education Edition is its relationship with Bedrock/PE. When you generate a world, you get an option to turn on Education Edition, which gives you the items from Education Edition. I actually like this and think it should be added to Java, because the new items are good for decorations like cupboards, and balloons and underwater tnt are just cool.

I had a very odd experience that I was wondering if anyone else has experienced. It might sound crazy but me and my friends caused some sort of “time warp” thing by killing a villager. We were making an ongoing joke about this villager being invincible and insanely lucky. So my friend thought it would be funny to make a 15x15 nuke of TNT and light it right on top of the villager. Now of course we flew really far from our main village we built not wanting to cause harm to our builds. But the overload of tnt started glitching me and all my friends game. The time of day was different for all of us and we started seeing duplicates of ourselves and are friends glitching around the map. This was kind of scary and we were all talking about it in VC. On the way back to the village the lag finally stopped and we all were fine but every single villager was frozen in place and wouldn’t walk or even make noise. We though our games crashed but everything else worked fine. Opening doors, chests, etc. We were confused on how to fix this so we left the game and we all restarted our games and joined back Into our server and to our surprise the villager we executed YESTERDAY was back in his previous house and the explosion was still there and villagers were moving yet again. My friend was spooked because we killed the villager for pushing another villager into a campfire. This world was already a roleplay world and we decided to use this for some lore and made a monument to remember the time warp. Telling our other friends abt this when they were offline wasn’t easy. Nobody believed us and everyone thought we were crazy or seeing things.

@pranaav2027
@pranaav2027 Ай бұрын
I believe this was caused due to the TNT explosion, which depending on how fast your server can handle something like that. The server would sometimes not kill entities cause loading the explosions was already a tedious task on the machine (depending on specs) or the server would limit the processing limit to prevent lag spikes or uneven ticks. It is seen that the game would sometimes not render the entity dead and the freezing of other villagers was caused due to lag in the server which is common after doing something that can cause massive lag. Also, due to the massive lag or maybe some minor corruption, the server might have decided to load a previous backup. These situations can sometimes occur on servers and most likely to occur there, than in your local PC.

Chainmail used to use the fire recipes because it was a placeholder. Fire is literally unobtainable unless you use commands and as such it's the perfect placeholder recipe material. So the devs thought about throwing in craftable chainmail and used a placeholder recipe till they figure it out since it would be made from iron but iron armor uses ingots and is tougher than chainmail, but they decided to just not add any recipe and make it only obtainable through mob drops, trades and chests

Alright some extra info and corrections: The ender dragon's name is "jean?" and It's a female name so the ender dragon is said to be female. Desert wells are actually useful because they spawn 100 blocks from a village so you can know a village is nearby. I think anything that can only be done in creative mode should be considered non-canon to anything in Minecraft lore, so even though there's a void below the bedrock in creative it could still fit with the dimensional layer theory if we consider the void to be a non-canon occurrence.

One more thing to be discussed regarding the infinity snapshot: the "0" dimension. Identified due to finding a phrase in which an infinity snapshot portal led directly to the End (dimension 2), some wondered what dimension 0 would look like. A book seed was discovered to lead there: cfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da The result is a dark green tinted world filled with huge numbers of withers and an endless fleet of End Ships. Notably, these ships are devoid of everything but the usual health pots on the brewing stand, and the two chests where the Elytra would be, but is absent. Each chest contains a single written book, the author name rendered in Minecraft's illegible, rapidly shifting text formatting, titled simply, "Orders." These orders consists of simple words or phrases interspersed with more illegible formatting text. Below is a sampling of the possible results: DISCOVER [ILLEGIBLE] OBLITERATE [ILLEGIBLE] MODDERS DEPLOY [ILLEGIBLE] LOST FLOPPIES CUT [ILLEGIBLE] MODDERS DESTROY [ILLEGIBLE] OBSERVE [ILLEGIBLE] CAPTURE [ILLEGIBLE] MODDERS RESTORE [ILLEGIBLE] COCTAILS [sic] CAPTURE [ILLEGIBLE] BUILD [ILLEGIBLE] MAPPINGS ...let's hope that fleet stays in the zero dimension, Eh?

38:08, Why not make the sharks passive or neutral mobs then, like in real life, and also not giving them good drops when kill, then some players wouldn´t even think of killing them (of course there will be some since they also torture axolotls for no reason). Like they added polar bears in the game who are more hostile than sharks in real life, but sharks aren´t alow. I´m just kinda mad since sharks are really cool and, for giving them more purpose, if you tame one it gave an achievement that said something among the lines of " A dangerous predator?" or something like that. Thank you for reading my little rant.

Chain armor is made out of fire because it was once intended to be craftable but Mojang didn't exactly knew which materials would be needed. They used fire as a crafting recipe because they implemented already in the game but used the fire item as ingredient so that you could not use it in Survival mode. After a while Mojang abonded the idea but left the chain armor in the game.

The basic explanation of the 0-tick thing is that the block takes 1 tick to update. That means that if you remove an block with a piston and in the same tick put a new one, the crop will keep in the place and at the same time not, making it drop an item while it still there.

regarding the 'steve is in coma' theory, there is actually a novel called "Würfelwelt" (German for cubeland) by Karls Olsberg! It's about someone trapped into a world that appears to be minecraft in the beginning, but is actually a construct of his subconsciousness that tries to get him out of a coma and has a lot of mechanisms that are not existent in the actual game. It's really good (in my opinion), unfortunately there aren't any translations at all.

The well could be considered a way of teaching the player how water mechanics work and how, by having 4 source blocks connected together in such a pattern, one can then get infinite water. Thats probably not it's intended use but it does work that way if a person were to stumble upon the game without being able to know anything else about it's history.

Hey there, so I'm a coder/scripter here and if fix most bugs and an overflow Is basically a script overflow the the parent program (C++ or Java) couldn't handle the amount of codes that it had to run It goes like this Imagine a glass as the parent program and water is script so if you overflow the water of the glass (parent program) is basically too much scripts

a cool thing about the steve coma theory is that some of the official minecraft novels kinda reference it. the first one was about this guy who wakes up in minecraft with no memories and has to survive the second one was about a girl who was in a car crash with a friend and long story short her friend was trapped inside the game. I just thought it might be related but idk lol (correct me if I’m wrong I read them a very long time ago lmao) great video btw :P

Funny enough, someone I’m very close to had started a new Minecraft world (on bedrock btw) and we had a village generate in a jungle! But it’s probably due to the experimental gameplay of the 1.18 generation. Oddly enough we also had a brown panda spawn too, I’m gonna see if that’s always gonna be the same when that seed is used.

End is above. Might be but the advancement say 'we need to go deeper' when we reach the nether and when we reach the end dimension it says 'the end?' so it might be saying that it was the end and there is just void below. But to note there was a question mark there. So there might be something more.

2:30 an overflow error is where the computer literally can no longer store numbers. Since everything is in binary, large numbers take up bits, and regardless of format there is a limit on the highest number a certain number of bits can represent. Overflow errors happen at numbers that are large powers of two (because there isn’t another bit allocated to store the next number up). Another issue that happens in similar circumstances is loss of precision, since there are basically only so many digits allowed for the number. It’s much more complicated in binary, but say you only have six digits to represent a number. For variables like velocity, near spawn you can use numbers like 1.23456 and be very precise, but farther away some of the precision is taken away, at positions like 1234.56. Both have the same number of digits but the first one is precise to the hundred thousandths place while the second is only precise to the hundredths. While the far lands have been removed, this error still exists and at distances a few million blocks out you will find that any entities move in janky ways since large jumps are the most precise they can be anymore.
