Welcome to my ultimate minstrel class guide for Lord of the Rings Online in 2023. In today's tutorial, we're doing a complete walkthrough of the minstrel class in LOTRO, and why this is one of the most versatile classes you can play in this Middle Earth MMORPG.
No minstrel gameplay walkthrough would be complete without some actual hands-on combat, so we also head into one of the skirmishes of the game to show you how the minstrel plays in real-time, blending the dissonance stance with the melody stance and the resonance stance for a mixture of dps, heals, and utility all at the same time.
The minstrel is the closest you'll come to being the bard you know and love from tabletop games, and with the variety of instruments that you can choose from you also get to customize the way your minstrel sounds in the game, and the way your spell animations work. But at the end of the day it's equally valid to play your minstrel as a DPS or healer based upon the needs of your fellowship or if you are soloing your way through Middle Earth.
