pfft. guy was a useless lush for the first few decades of his life. then he gets shot every time and spends most of the remaining time in hospital. the only period of his life that was filled with courage and determination would be ww1. then after that back to being a lush, and prisoner. i tell you, all you need is to be known by the elites to and smooj your way into luxury. unearned and uninteresting. however, as a whole, his life was not uneventful... and worth a few minutes of my time (i watched at triple speed). yeah, thats right, if i'm not going to worship gods, you can bet your arse i'm not going to 'ooh and ah' over a person, especially when most of their life is spent so idly.

This particular thumbnail wouldn't be particularly complicated to make without AI though, it's VERY basic. And T2 already uses art in his videos, I don't think it would harm it for the thumbnails to also be done by a person. Heck, it's so simple, he could do it himself with a few license free stock photos and a copy of GIMP2 (I say this in part because GIMP2 costs nothing). Heck, I'm sure there's editing software on phones that could pull this off.

5:10 If you've never heard of the English public school boy game 'Soggy biscuit' under NO circumstances should you google it. Especially if you're eating. Don't say I didn't warn you!😁🤢🤮🤮🤮 This is (alleged) the sort of Thing Boris Johnson, David Cameron and Nigel Farage used to get up to at expensive public* schools Eton & Dulwich College. Which explains a lot.🤔😐 *For any non-Brits public' schools are expensive private schools. NOT state schools. They're called public schools because these early schools were set up by members of the public, not the government, long before education was compulsory and when usually it was only available to the children of the rich.

My great uncle lost his eye in ww2 driving an officer in a Jeep. They took a mortar round and flipped... the officer didnt make it and Bill lost his eye. When I was about 5, I met him. Not knowing the story, i asked him why he always kept one eye closed. He said, "I sleep in this eye half the day and switch the second half. That way i can stay up all the time." I tried to do that for a long time before asking my dad how uncle Bill did that. He just laughed and then proceeded to tell me the real story. I met the man once, at 5 years old, and I will remember him forever. Legend.

There's nothing more off-putting than an AI generated thumbnail. Seriously, AI is great for many things, but creative endeavors are ALWAYS better without AI.

And we all think of General George Patton as a badass. General De Wiart makes him look and seem like a baby kitten. Can’t imagine going through those injuries and still wanting to fight.

If you made a movie about him, it would have to continiously show the text: "Yes, this actually happened"

Also, before his retirement in Ireland: "En route home via French Indochina, Carton de Wiart stopped in Rangoon as a guest of the army commander. Coming down stairs, he slipped on coconut matting, fell down, broke several vertebrae, and knocked himself unconscious. He was admitted to Rangoon Hospital where he was treated."

Very interesting Aran, I like your style. One little detail about about Carton de Wiart's career that you missed out was his brief involvement in the Israeli War of Independence. He was literally just passing through the area when he went ashore with a borrowed rifle and did some sniping on the front line . . .
