@@ElectricLegend14 Great conclusion! However i would like to say this is a "double-edged sword". With this same reasoning, you can also come to the conclusion that nothing matters, if you do not value anything for the reason that you know, that regardless whatever you do,feel, make others feel, do, believe, none of this will stay with you, you will not see your own effect on others or on the world, and you will return to the "nothingness" you once came from, with the possibility, that you will die regretting it all. ( Unless of course you believe/think of it otherwise) And of course, i have to admit, this could get you in a loop of hope and despair, because both of these views of what is important can be true, however only you decide how you want to look at things

This is why so many men have admitted to crying while watching Blade Runner 2049. I know I did. We’re led to believe Agent K (Ryan Gosling) is special; the son of replicants Rachael and Deckard, yet human. However, K realizes he’s not special, but merely yet another replicant created by the Tyrell Corporation. The memory of the wooden horse implanted by the daughter of Deckard and Rachael. Ergo: we all want to believe we’re special, but in most cases it simply isn’t true. We’re just a cluster of decaying cells.

@@CS-zn4bu art is subjective, but when people say either Blade Runner is boring I don’t disagree or try and argue with them. I’m a huge fan of both films, but even I can admit they are slowly paced to where I get it if people don’t like them. Having said that, we’re also living in the era of KZfaq Shorts and TikTok, which have trained people to not appreciate the nuances of character development and a plot taking its time. That’s not a subtle attack on you, at all. Reminds me of a college course I took, called Children & Media. We evaluated a study involving children who watched SpongeBob SquarePants, and how fast-paced cartoons like it can hinder abstract thinking, short-term memory, and impulse control. Even if it’s only watched for a few minutes. Unfortunately, TikTok and a good chunk of social media are no different.

Always remember that the stuff you are "supposed" to do to look successful is all made up by other people and that stuff doesn't really matter. What matters is what is important to YOU. As long as you don't hurt anyone else, live the way YOU want. Maybe it sounds a bit selfish, but that way the chances are that you feel Ok about your life, thus making you a better person and possibly an inspiration to others. Which itself is a valuable thing. It's very easy to feel bad about your own life as we are constantly advertised how great and awesome our life should be; owning this much money and looking the best we can; having hundreds of friends and an important career. This BS.

Great lesson Chaesis! The song I mentioned is called HURRICANE. Its by while she sleeps. This is pasted from my response to another comment. ---- I thought the exact same thing my entire life. When I did something truely selfless as an atheist he started revealing himself to me. One of my favorite song lyrics before I got saved were "And if a God's looking down we'll give them something to lose." The world I live in is magical now. I'm free. Im not hallucinating. It's not confirmation bias. I don;t have cognitive dissonance. Fellow Christians share amazing stories actual physical signs that God shows them. My aunt has a picture of a tree near her church. Right on the property line to the church there is a tree. There was a satanic priest that was preacing next to the tree bothering them for months. The tree fully grew its leaves right on the property line on the church side. It died on the satanic priests side. I have so many more stories like that one. It's not mythology. Just go give a homeless person 20 bucks and talk to them one day and see what happens to your life. Best wishes.

@CharlesRaysen I said atheism is false you know why? Because all top 1 religion is Christianity 2.5B people, My supernatural experience & other peoples supernatural experience & testimonies on yt points out to Jesus, Miracles, demons, supernatural phenomena that can't be explained by science points out to a higher power, which is the lord Jesus Christ & atheism is also bad because it's from the devil & it would lead people to hell. Do not believe in ur prideful understanding, it's a deadly sin. I'm a former atheist btw for 2yrs & it was a mistake but Jesus saved me. Brother, Jesus is Real. Me & alot more people had supernatural experiences of him. Ask him HUMBLY with ur heart without pride & don't give up. Just search its also on KZfaq if u want peoples supernatural experiences. Don't listen to the devil. God is good & love, it's the devil that ur referring to as cause of unluckiness, or maybe it's God because he wants something better for u. Repent now everyone to be saved before Its too late. I love you brother because Jesus loves us. Research christian YT channels about 70+ good channels about 30 are very good if you want to learn about God. God bless. I have more arguments to say or back this up but this is good for now. I'm sorry but Atheists & many more like Mark Manson has been deceived by the devil, atheism is false! I pray & hope this helped some of you here become saved & Christians.❤

Something greater to strive for. My own little legacy that I built. My own little castle that not everyone may love, but something I put my heart and soul into. Something that, yes allows me to ignore questioning the purpose of life, but by giving it a purpose I truly feel is deeper than death. I’m so happy I figured this out sooner rather than later. I think about death at least 5 times everyday from the moment I woke up. It’s how I’m able to enjoy my life. It’s the only thing that gives life meaning. Even the meaning and purpose that we create in life is still meaningless. Humans are such an insignificant, insecure, jealous, deluded, ignorant and vulnerable species that live in fear. Everything we do is out of fear. Relationships are two insecure individuals that use and tolerate each other for their own selfish needs and wants all for the fear of being alone. This is not love and this is no way to live but most and many do out of fear. Tomorrow is not promised. Tomorrow does not exist. Now is all we have. In the end nothing matters. We are all on the same sinking boat that inevitably ends in tragedy. Drop the ego and character that you are playing and live. We are just memories and memories are just brain tissue. When the brain dies consciousness dies and we will cease to exist. The truth about the human condition is that answers will never cure our fears, only acceptance will. It’s all about killing time until you die. Smile, your alive

Ikno it may seem like you’re a pointless speck of dust, but close your eyes, then open them. You are alive and aware in your body. You are alive for a reason(you wouldn’t exist if you weren’t. Not even the blueprint for your creation deep within your very DNA with have been made if it didn’t make it possible for you to be)You yourself are special and unique. There will never be anybody like you. Remember, you weren’t just thrust here for no reason. You were given the gift of life and what you do with it matters, not just you, but your friends, family, and the world around you as a whole. You’re my kin(we all share an ancestor 😊) and I hate to hear cousins feel the way you do. 😢 It’s good to accept we’re all cursed to die unfortunately, but don’t feel like your life pointless. One thing I stick by has made my life 100% happier...I don't give a fuck about what anyone else thinks or says about me. It makes zero difference in my life, what someone else thinks. I like myself and know who I am. I get satisfaction from being a psychiatric RN and caring for people that are far too often, treated poorly by society. I enjoy showing them kindness and love. Some have been patients for decades, and we are the only family they have. I cannot tell you how many patients we have that never receive visitors. It's easy for me to be kind because that is how I am wired. I couldn't care less about status, or wealth. Society seems obsessed with show. It is all about looking rich. I focus on experiences I can have with loved ones. New discoveries and the mysteries of this existence excite me and I can spend hours coming up with possibilities of what all "this" is or may be. These things make me a happy and content human. Oh, and animals! I love animals.

Thank you, I really needed to hear this. Because you do feel that you don't matter in life. But then what you said starting at 2:24 in the video. That made me actually cry because you have to tell yourself this "to get through this thing called life," to borrow Prince's song lyrics for a moment there. But it's sometimes hard to believe it when your inner voice is the only one saying that. And often people want to put you down and try to make you doubt yourself for their own messed up reasons. It's nice to hear it from outside yourself. That you matter, and your daily struggle to be a good person and citizen as you age matters as you get ever closer to that mystery called death. I've never personally been afraid of death, it seems actually like the ceasing of having to deal with all the shit. So what's there to be afraid of? It's harder to live each day than to die. But I really hate losing those I love to it. It's incredibly hard to live through that. This truly was an excellent video.

@@YOUARESOFT. Our income has been screwed when adjusted for inflation. This affects our rent. You can't even invest in anything with the amount we're being paid. The cost of healthcare is a crime against our people. I am paying $500 a per month, but they mail me a $498 check every month. I was told that I can use it to pay for my prescription or the insurance (so i have to choose between paying for my prescription and my health insurance with that money). On top of that, I have to pay up to $3500 every year at the doctor before they can help me pay the medical bill. Companies that pay higher than minimum wage require a bachelor degree, and to get this piece of paper, we are required to be in a debt that you can't file for bankruptcy. At top of that, because there are so few places that pay higher than minimum wage, we have to compete with those in our class and the upper middle class. Those who lack experiences (this is a catch 22 situations with many people. especially the young ones) will not be hired. Our savings for retirement is also in danger.
