The Unexpected Happened While Surf Fishing (Lost for Words)
Surf Fishing Navarre Beach during the Winter and caught some sweet fish. I brought one of the fish home to do a catch and cook and it was so massive that it fed the whole family!
Rod: Ninja Dagger 8'6 and 12', Over The Bar 12', and Beach Runner 9'
Reel: 4000-5000 Size Penn Battle 2 and Battle 3 DX Reels
Lure: ESLure 1.25oz OG Minnow
Hook: Owner Mutu Light #1
Bait: Fishbites, fresh dead frozen Shrimp
Leader: 20 and 30lb. Berkley Big Game Mono
Main Line: 20lb Sufix 832 Braid
Accessories: Fish n Mate Beach Cart

Appreciate it! I use 20lb Sufix 832 Braid for my mainline. I do use a shock leader (about 8 feet long). Tight lines 🤘

Sadly the Redfish I typically catch are over the 27" mark which makes them illegal to keep in Florida. If I get a legal Redfish I'll do a catch and cook.
