How do you keep regular shrimp on your hook? I have bought shrimp from tackle stores and seafood markets and they all are easy to cast off.

Amazon sells an elastic thread to keep the bait on the hook. Cheap and stays on the hook during the vigorous cast. Resists the bait stealers too. You get a lot of thread for the money.

Why do you got so many freaking poles out at the same time I don’t I just like one pole so I go in concert at one, but your concert is three or four poles and if you got one fish on one pole and then all of a sudden you got a fishing pole and another fishing pole fishing on all four of them what are youfish I don’t know that’s just me though

You should always maximize your potential…. So 4 Rods is the best way to go …. And if you’re not comfortable with 4 Rods … try 3 or 2 …. But 1 … that’s just not gonna work … if you use 4 … cast 2 long , 2 short and now you’re in the money 🏆🏆👍👍🇺🇸

I'm taking the family out to Destin at the end of the month for vacation from South Texas, I want to do some fishing while were out there. What are good areas to go that I'm not gonna be that guy thats fishing where families are out swimming. How is morning fishing I figure get out before it gets crowded... Any advice is appreciated... Great vids by the way looks like a blast...
@JustinReedFishing
@JustinReedFishing 13 күн бұрын
Mornings are great. Good bite and mess people. Not really familiar with Destin but I think Henderson is a spot that you can get away from people. Princess Beach is too but you'll need a Eglin Range Pass (free online) to fish there. Pompano rigs or single droppers with and without floats will catch about everything from the beach. During the summer I like using a rig with just the hook (no bead or float). Sandfleas, Shrimp, or Fishbites for bait. If you can get ghost shrimp or Blue Crab those will work great too. Cast your baits at different distances until you find a good bite then focus there. Hope you have agreat vacation and good luck!

good video. I agree, reeling against the drag is so wrong! And here is why, if you had been around when folks used mono as a main line and did that, you would have learned very soon, that all reeling against the drag does, is twist your line. Braid is more forgiving; but bad techniques are BAD. proper way to fight a fish is to pull back, then reel down keeping a bend in the rod. Repeat. To continue doing wrong after you have been schooled is just disrespectful to all fishermen.
