Wow! History was made that day! The Ventures: One of the most incredible bands ever to grace the stage! Thanx so much for sharing this classic film. :-)
Listened to their first hits on AM radio when they were released and I was hooked. The Ventures and The Beatles were the reasons I learned how to play guitar. Love their music and still play my Ventures model Mosrite. Still listening in 2020.

Larry: You & I, plus thousands of others, share the influence & the inspiration that The Ventures & The Beatles brought to the table. I pray that your Mosrite is an original, if so, that makes you extremely lucky.

that drummer is fantastic and he doesn't even break a sweat. I had no idea the Ventures played like this, and I was around when they were. This and a couple others from 66 I just watched blow me away. And I dug the travel footage in there (even though it was over the drum solo which I would have liked to see), especially seeing the kool period Japanese cars. jb
