Simple tool, nothing fancy but can help many more than they think.
Let movement pass through you and organize you, it is an adaptogen, a healing force, a teacher.
Those who will give this a fair chance of 30 days X 25 min a day will learn something substantial.
I wish all the best to you from the bottom of my heart

This is an old Qigong exercise (lookup Qigong shaking). Good for stress relief, strengthening the immune system, and detox of the organs. I do it everyday but normally only for 1-2 minutes, combined with Qigong healing sounds breathing. Interesting that this is for 25 minutes. I've never done it more than 4-5 minutes in the past. Also didn't notice if Ido mentioned that you can bounce your heels gently on the floor while shaking. Bouncing on heels further stimulates the immune system as bone marrow is an important part of the immune system.

tony robbins has a similar daily practice of a few minutes on a personal trampoline - a little easier on the joints while still reinvigorating the body, but a little risky for anyone who has poor balance, muscle weakness, or is otherwise unstable

@@AnnetteLovesFreedom It’s tricky to explain this to my parents. They migrated twice in their lives: first as a minority group of Albanians living in Macedonia to Istanbul, and then my father was one of the first migrants to Belgium because they needed workers. Even though they’ve come a long way from where they started, some things seem too much to ask, I think. No complaints here because, for their age, they’re still amazing and keep going. We had to beg my father to stop driving from Belgium to Turkey; he still complains that he needs a car there 😅.

thanks for doing such a paced, thorough job of going from the top to the bottom! I was doing it along with you, I couldn´t feel my muscles ("flesh") relax the way you obviously can...... I do something like this nearlz everz morning, but As a first step, I relate more to the bones and joints with shaking. For the muscles I do resistance moves and stretching...... I agree with Fernando below: the presentation would be more effective if it showed all of your legs and if you had a smaller t-shirt on..... I look forward to your next video, too!

So why am I enthralled with Ido Portal’s vertical shake?? It helps me tune me into the conditions and qualities of my flesh and its main layers; skin, superficial fascia, deep fascia, muscles and bones. When tuning into my body’s shaking, many sensations emerge and through the body these sensations begin to have meaning. I am able to create an in-the-moment, more accurate map, of where all my body parts are, and where my movement joints are, and the comfort level of my body. Since I am relating to the vertical through the contact of my feet on the ground and the image of a vertical suspension from the crown of my head, I am fine tuning my internal template of a body schema with the feedback from my proprioceptors and interoceptors. (Some of this is a conscious process but most an unconscious, autonomic process of the brain making connections through experience.) My attention is global with sensations coming from the whole and especially the “wetsuit” of the superficial fascia. My intention is focused on the vertical alignment (contact forces going through the bones.) As I release the flesh and allow it to shake, I am learning that I do have a layer of jelly. And I am learning to love and care for that layer in such a way that every organ, every tissue, every cell is happy, that life inside is cooperative and collaborative.

I'm studing shaking metod from years. I do this and others with some diference in the tecnique, but of course is not so important:it depends from purpose, goals and foundations. I can't agree about the time:too much. In my humble opinion, hight frequency shaking for long time can made micro-trauma to spinal and leg joints, cerebral vascular complex, and by the way, ernia. If you look in nature, animals do shaking.....but they do just for sone seconds. They "train"in this from milions years......and I think nature is wise.....the real master we must observe to learn the best, healt moves.

tell all that injury stuff to long distance runners, this right here is very mild compared to those forces, even if done for half an hour. concerning the other animals - the difference between you and me and them is that they don't spend most of their time sedentary because their technology rapidly changed their environment from what they evolved in. We did though, and so humans invented the concept of exercise, training etc. A chimpanzee doesn't do/need pull-ups. Doesn't mean pull-ups are bad for you.
