Күн бұрынThe Virtual Weekender was the 2020 woodturning extravaganza from Chestnut Products. Planned to be held live just outside Maidstone, events prevented us from doing so. Instead, we took it online and hosted some great demos by Emma Cook and Stewart Furini.

what is the advantage of a steb centre in the tail stock?

Hi Gary. I'm not sure at which point in the video you're referring to, but it'll be a live Steb Centre and will be being used for better workholding. Stebs tend to hold onto things better than some other centres, and whilst this isn't always necessary it can't hurt! Does that help?

@@chestnutproducts3097 Yes. I just didn't understand the live part of the steb centre, thought it was used to drive only. It was Emma Cooks setup that prompted me to comment. She's a talented turner with bags of. confidence cheers
