So few of these reality or contestant shows lead to any sort of life changing success for them. At best the few who find success make one or two albums and then fall into oblivion. Kelly Clarkson is a rare example of someone who won a contest, released an album, and continues to have a success career years later. This goes for dancing shows and other types of reality contestant shows. But if you think back to the really OG show called Star Search from the 80s or 90s, that show actually showcased a lot of future celebrities. They didn’t all necessarily win the Star Search contest but many tried Star Search and eventually made their way to stardom. Correlation but not causation though.

People remember Celine's version because she did it much more recently. Carmen's version reached number two on the charts and sold over a million copies. Celine's version only reached number four and sold just over half a million copies. It's his song. It's just a cover for her.

I've seen some celebs do some pretty despicable things but what KC has done for the past 3 yrs, bashing their little children's father is nothing but emotional abuse. They will grow up knowing how much she & everyone else despises their father because she can't stfu up about it. If you don't know, it was reported, when Kelly filed for divorce, that she expected Reba to take her side, and Reba said she couldn't do that, because she loved them, both, and wanted both of them to be happy.
