I met Kerry at a shopping mall after he started with the WWE (then the WWF) a few months before he died. We shook hands after I recognized him and told him I didn’t want an autograph. I feel he respected that and we chatted a few minutes.

Damn, U should have gotten the Autograph! That’s 3 bills just on a piece of paper! I have his Wwf promo pic signed and it’s prob double that! I wish I could find another Kerry Autograph! Love him, Pillman, Owen, Piper and Bravo a lot! Miss them all actually but those few are special to me..Bulldog, Perfect and Rude too

It’s horrendous. As a straight man I can tell you without being ashamed, Kerry was beautiful. Head full of hair, body of an Adonis, just couldn’t get over the disease of addiction. Been clean 8 years myself. It’s not like cancer where you can’t have a choice in beating it. It’s a different disease. It’s a disease we open ourselves up to and pursue. But we gotta seek help.

I've dealt with very similar tragedies in my families life and knowing what my mom went through, Doris is the one that my heart went out to.

You can’t find an interview from this era where Kevin and Kerry are as articulate. They must have been very sober and unusually clear headed. They communicate a good message. No family should have to endure what they went through. God bless them, you, all of us.

You're right they did appear to be sober and clear minded. I don't understand what they went through but I lost a brother to a drug overdose. We saw it coming but what can you do?

He was not on point all the brothers were doing cocaine, heroin, meth, weed speed and alcohol. Kerry was on cocaine the night he was doing 90 miles an hour on his motor Cycle and rammed a police car and severed his foot and here they are telling people to not do drugs. They never learned in there so called follow God's laws which his law is to live by your own words.

Wow thanks for uploading this. Now I really don't wanna jump on here & question religion, but isn't it pretty clear that suicide is a sin? I'm not saying they should be on the 700 Club saying Mike is going to Hell or anything like that, just maybe don't mention his journey to the afterlife & keep it about the struggles he had before he took his own life & endorse suicide prevention. What's really sad about watching this is the fact that up to that point the family had already endured so much tragedy with the deaths of Jackie, David & Mike, but in less than 5 years they would lose both Chris & Kerry to suicide as well.

To many times of boys using drugs declared by other wrestlers really strong stuff. I my thinking their father should have quit wrestling business and concentrated on fixing his family. I feel very sorry for his wife. May they all rest in peace. Amen

Chris wasn’t a wrestler! He did very minimal and to be fair, Kev, Kerry and David were the main Von Erich’s! Mike and Chris were just side attractions to give them some camera time.

Sad how they were sitting there, talking about its hard being a Christian in the buisness, while so many of the others were doing drugs and alcohol. They were the worst ones doing it at the time! Kerry couldnt even stay straight long enough to go and do this interview on the biggest Christian channel out there back then. He was higher than a kite here!

Yeah. They are mocking God by kayfabing their faith and flat out making stuff up. Also it's pretty hilarious that Kerry says without their faith, Mike and David's death would have torn the family apart when it was his suicide that tore that family apart once and for all. Lesson here is, don't mock God for attention.

To which I totally agree with, many tragedies that happen to me I completely rely on God to guide me and i let it all out to him. This helps me move past problems and get stronger.
