@@JosephSCB123 it was good story to tell. Seemed rushed; like they planned a bigger movie scale years ago and then just went with 6 episodes. They definitely shouldn't continue it. End it there and if there is a new rick story after start a new series that links all the spinoffs currently going. Let TOWL be a standalone like it was supposed to be (but originally in movies)

Anything with Carol in it is fantastic. She is the smartest out of all of them. She is the one who got all of them out of trouble. She is the best character

TOWL is for the hardcore fans, especially since there were so many call backs to the OG Walking Dead. It's the type of show that invites analysis for its many intricate layers . The slow burn in the TOWL was given to us through the many years we waited to see Rick and Michonne on the screen. There's no doubt that the show needed a second season, to really play out the CRM storyline, but all in all it was a fantastic show and by far my favorite spin-off.

@@thisworld2350 agree it was for real fans of TWD universe.. Disagree about a second season... Think they should just do another series that links all spinoffs (or put under umbrella of TWD). They did rush TOWL, should have done 8 episodes or 2 movies (like original plan)

Waiting almost 6 years since 9x05 to see the reunions/payoffs in TOWL, I think the admittedly rushed payoffs were earned for anybody that stuck around to see it. They can slow burn Book of Carol because it hasn’t been nearly as long since we’ve seen those 2 together. Viewers aren’t as antsy for that reunion.

I wasn't a fan of the ending and was bummed they ended the CRM but no doubt it was still the best of the spin-offs. Just having Rick back and seeing what he went thru at the CRM was the best content we've had in a while

Why does any of the Spinoffs need to feel exactly like TWD? It's a spin off. It'll have aspects but purposely not be exactly like it. I think all the spin offs had their own unique purpose. TOWL is built around a romance. Maybe that's why you don't like it. I enjoyed it so much I almost couldn't focus on anything else from episode to episode. There were only 6 episodes. They got a ton in for such a short season.

I'll be honest, I still haven't finished Season 1 of Daryl Dixon. It's like pulling teeth, for me. I'll finish it only because Carol is coming in season 2. TOWL was really good, especially having Rick and Michonne back. I agree, it could have been written a bit better. I wish a spinnoff of the global virus origin story and early outbreaks would be great!

I have a hard time believing that Daryl Dixon season 2 will be better then the ones who live. The ones who lives was the best. Daryl Dixon season 1 was the least interesting of the three new series in my opinion. So grey, and seem to be about a Jesus-child. It didn't feel like the walking dead to me. And I actually don't like that they speak french either. But I think season 2 can be better than season 1 because Carol is in it

I would love love love for the universe to do spin offs…even if they are only a few episodes..that tells the backstory of the characters long before the outbreak and bringing it to the exact time that we met the character! Like showing life drama happening in there lives and then boom the outbreak changes everything!!!

Daryl Dixon season 1 was hard to watch and pretty boring except the last 2 episodes I hope season 2 has a better story better pacing and better ending. And all the people saying Daryl Dixon is better than TOWL are just dumb tbh.

Does anyone know the amount of time Daryl has been gone? Like from the finale of TWD when he leaves and says goodbye to Carol and the kids, until he ended up in France? Is that supposed to be a matter of weeks or months and then Carol decides she also needs to leave to find him? So for us it’s been years obviously but in TWD universe how long has he been gone?

I liked the ones that live. I think they were setting up rick being leader like in the comics. Rick and michonne will be loved now for destroying general biel. Now with crm and commonwealth they can face a worldwide threat thats brewing

Towl is better because Rick Grimes there Andrew Lincoln and The story was already built over different seasons of Twd All they had to do was finish it, but I still feel it could have been better, but they wasted the opportunity in exchange for making it like Bridgeton. You can tell us the love story without Cringe speach and kiss scenes , but wherever Rick is, this is a privilege for any show, The fact that the first episode (Rick episode)received the highest rating is proof of what I said,I didn’t watch other spin off but I’m sure I’m right

Mme genet i love her a lot. Rarely can we have a menacing female character and a mad french woman is such an accurate characterization. Even the nun has that typical "parisienne" attitude. Lots of partying lots of drugs, resourceful but sly.

I can say im a pretty big fan of TWD...Theres not a week that goes by that I dont watch some episodes from TWD...I have no urge at all to rewatch TOWL, not even a little bit. It wasnt bad...but definitely underwhelming. Fear, original, world beyond, daryl...maybe dead city..all have a bit of rewatch value for me. TOWL doesnt , which is a shame

That's how I feel about Daryl's spinoff.....I watch all Walking Dead's shows like 4-5 times each, but Daryl's spinoff...once was enough for me.....his was just boring

Variant walkers suck. What made the walking Dead was grounded in reality ( aside from the whole zombie thing lol) they humanized the zombies. They were once people and our characters genuinely were afraid and heartbroken at times by their presence. Adding in super zombies is like taking the fast and furious franchise from a street racing theft ring to the crew being super spies and going to space. They are changing the world of the walking Dead and someday we won't recognize it as the same product.
