I was at this show both acoustic and private and they ambience and playfulness of DPA was like this song very palpable.

If ever there was a Warning song meant for the open road, top down, foot flat on the floor, stereo at 11, wind in your hair (if you have any left), this is it. I love the snap Pau has on the high hat during the second half of the verse. They do such a good job of making small, subtle changes to keep our (and likely their) interest. I also really enjoy how much they use 9ths and 11ths that are common in latin music, but far less common in our standard rock. Adds so much color to the arrangements.

Dani is such a troll when starting Dull Knives. It's amazing.

Dany puts on a masterclass of being a front-woman here! Just incredible in all ways! The groove laid down by Ale & Pau is awesome & the vocals throughout are outstanding. Add to that the massive energy & drive & you get a classic. The stop, as you say, is phenomenal - if I recall the one on the Warning Cave version was also spectacular. Yet another example of them adding these small, subtle things to enhance their songs. Thanks, Don - and not dull (just the knives) at all! 😂👍

There is no bad performance of Dull Knives. There is no mediocre performance of Dull Knives. There isn’t even just a good performance of Dull Knives. But this is definitely one of the best of the best performances of this song. Great reaction! Loved seeing you getting so into it during the first playthrough. Thanks Don!

Those opening notes are a combination of harmonics AND Dany's octave rocker pedal - pushed to the floor is 50/50 root and +1 octave; pulled all the way back 50/50 root and -1 octave. She also uses it for the opening riff of Narcisista.

It seemed to me that Pau’s cymbal work was extra spicy in this particular mix, very prominent especially at the end.

Pau looks very laid back with her drumming style during this performance and the whole show and it's a huge departure from when she used to flail her arms around all over the place. She's always been a very skilled drummer but it seems like she has honed in more on that aspect in recent years. I love Dany's interaction with the crowd and she is just so comfortable performing and engaging with the crowd and I realized that when I saw them in Pittsburgh. Obviously Ale's stage presence has grown tremendously over the last few years as well. Less than a month away from my 2 The Warning ERROR tour shows!
