@cspray5386 Hi what a beautiful comment ❤️ God bless you. Well, my mama is not bad , i think . She lives far away so we only talk on the phone randomly as she's never awake when i ring . Unless she's avoiding everyone. My stepdad always has excuses. I'm a hermit now since daddi went I don't go out anymore. That's not strictly true. I have a dog so I do go out sometimes, my other half takes her out mostly. As I sleep all day and go out at night when nobody is around and he thinks that's scary . So he doesn't like it. He comes with me sometimes. I have a scary dog lol. Life is difficult at our age , it's just losing people constantly, you have to back off from life and keep yourself to yourself. I suppose its a protection mode. My ex husband is riddled with cancer now. God I hate life. Thank you for your post and Very kind words. May I ask why you are here listening to this incredible song. ? ❤

+Sophie -Grace I really do like The Waterboys, and most of Mike Scott's poetry, but the misuse of case grammar just sets my teeth on edge. I swear that most writers for television and movies don't know case grammar any more, either. I doubt I'll play this song again.

No, YOU didn't spoil it! I'm a retired English teacher, and I detest errors in grammar in poetry and songs. Rhymes don't have to be absolute -- Mike Scott could have found other ways to ask about the trouble in the relationship and used "you and me" rather than the incorrect "you and I."
